5 /5 linda walsh klein: I arrived via ambulance and was admitted to a room after about 10 minutes. Once there, the triage nurse was present and began an assessment. I felt safe. My nurse was attentive and communicative. He was concerned about my comfort as well as assisting me to BR, etc. Dr R Rodriguez was professional while at the same time, personable and reassuring. He sat and went over all my lab work and test results face to face & made recommendations for follow up care. The discharge instructions were thorough! I must give the ER 5 stars for the care I received!

5 /5 Susan Sheehan: Went to ER with chest pains and palpitations. Blood pressure and heart rate were high. Took me in immediately and started taking vital signs, EKG and blood work. I was very impressed how quickly they were assessing me. Hooked me up to a heart monitor and had me stay overnight to evaluate me. Saw a cardiologist in the hospital and they were very accommodating. Nurses were very helpful in the ER and when I went to my room. My cardiologist is affiliated with this hospital and PA and doctor from his office were in to see me in the morning. I have an appointment scheduled for this Friday with him. Thank you PHYSICIANS REGIONAL.

1 /5 V. Rifino: I had an extremely frustrating experience at Physicians Regional’s emergency department. The care I received was disappointing, particularly from Scott, a male nurse in the triage room (141). I had injured my foot, and as he was wheeling me to my exam, he didn’t make any effort to avoid hitting the door frame, almost causing injury to my foot. His bedside manner was non-existent—he showed no eye contact, spoke gruffly, and treated me as though I was an inconvenience to him. He didn’t take the time to review my medical history, nor did he seem to care about my comfort. Scott also took an unnecessarily long time to measure my heart rate and oxygen levels, clearly more focused on filling out forms than attending to my needs. I felt completely disregarded during this process. Things didn’t improve when I saw Kevin, the technician who performed my foot X-ray. When I asked how many X-rays would be taken, he told me “two.” After the second X-ray, I assumed we were done, but when I asked, he snapped at me, saying, “I told you I was taking two, which requires a set of five each!” I’ve never been spoken to so rudely in a medical setting. The only positive part of my visit was the physician on call, who was outstanding. He communicated well, explained everything clearly, provided my report, and advised me to follow up. Unfortunately, the chaotic atmosphere in the emergency department, coupled with the rushed attitudes of most staff members, made my experience frustrating. It seems that Physicians Regional doesn’t staff enough employees to properly handle the needs of emergency patients.

1 /5 Aalissa gray: ⭐ 1 Star – Unsafe Discharge & Medical Negligence I am extremely disappointed with the care my sister received at Physicians Regional Hospital in Naples, FL. She was brought to the ER because hospital staff assumed she was under the influence, despite her roommate telling them she has seizures and a sleep disorder that causes extreme drowsiness. Instead of properly evaluating her condition, they forced her to sign discharge papers while she was still impaired and unaware of what was happening. While attempting to collect a urine sample, she was confused and pushed nurses away because she mistakenly believed someone was trying to do something inappropriate to her. Rather than recognizing her disorientation as a medical issue, they allowed her to sign herself out in this impaired state. After signing, she fell into a deep sleep for four hours. When she finally woke up, still drowsy and confused, she asked, “What’s wrong with me?” A nurse responded, “You didn’t want our help; you signed to leave.” When she became more aware and asked for help again, she was told, “We can’t do anything for you,” and was forced to leave while still unwell. No proper reassessment was done, and the only paperwork she received simply said “Panic Attacks” with no explanation or treatment plan. They ignored clear signs of a neurological issue and refused to provide further care. This was not only unprofessional but dangerous. My sister was discharged while still impaired and unable to advocate for herself, despite clear signs that she was in medical distress. I will be filing a formal complaint with state health agencies and The Joint Commission regarding this negligence. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone seeking proper medical care.
