Nearly a year ago I began seeing Dr. George Moricz and staff (“Naples Center For Functional Medicine”) armed with prayers that I’d recover my mental sharpness, strength (muscle), energy, stamina, vigor, drive, desire, and motivation. Tall order for me to give and for Dr. George Moricz and staff to deliver. But, did I say prayer? I prayed the toughest prayers ever! Let’s get to it! Nothing comes easy. It takes time, dedication, and prayer to achieve what seems to be the elusive butterfly of life. But, so long as I wake every morning I am bound and determined to have the best health and moments of my life. Now you ask, are you achieving the best moments of your life? My answer? Yes, I am ! ! ! Today, February 22 has been the best day I’ve had in, about, ten years. Yes, ten years! In short, I lost ten years to growing older without me monitoring the stability and quality of my health. What was I thinking ? ? ? Yet, for me, these past months have been “just what the doctor ordered”. Without question everyone has different health needs. Having said that, Dr. Moricz and his professional medical team custom fit functional medicine into one’s natural health needs and lifestyle. That’s what they’ve done for me. Finally, upon waking up this morning I had a full day without interruption or the feeling of malaise. The past interruptions or malaise would inevitably force me back to sleep. Throughout this day I found myself completely amazed and grateful by my near yearlong and gradual transformation; transformation to healthy and livable life. Stay tuned ! ! ! 1 /5 Victoria Mink: My daughter was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis at the age of 10. I reached out to this practice in hopes that the can help me get her off the toxic meds that she was on. I reached out to them and they assured me that they had many success cases getting people with UC in remission After numerous tests, purchased supplements, visits and thousands of dollars spent, they helped me get her off of it. But the condition came back this past spring. During appointments, the doctor was never prepared for us. She’d quickly scan my daughter’s records at the time of the visit and do research on the medications my daughter was on at the time of the visit. Before you spend thousands of dollars here, not including the membership fee that they now charge, please be aware that this place may not be equipped to tackle autoimmune conditions like UC. We used the online portal to communicate with the doctor and oftentimes my questions were left unanswered. When I called the office, they always told me to schedule an appointment (more $$$) with the doctor to have my questions answered.

Dr Maristany has a wealth of information about the body’s functional needs on all levels. He has helped me with so many issues that other Doctors I’ve seen, ignored or couldn’t find ways to treat. Each visit with him is an eye opening experience. Having my DNA results has opened many options for treatment of pertinent issues that would not have been known if I had not done the DNA testing. My cognitive issues and other aging problems have been noticeably affected with the Hyperbaric treatments the practice also provides. I have also used the NAD IV’s, that have been amazingly able to decline my gastro issues and so much more! Naples Functional Medicine offers our FUTURE, that so many doctors are not educated or aware of! This practice is AWESOME! Brenda Mosher

1 /5 lawrence kain: My wife, maybe the sweetest kindest and most respectful person was so excited to find this place. A medical team that although expensive and did not take insurance... would really listen. Turned out to be the exact opposite. My wife is very aware of her conditions, her tests, what the doctor needs to have a productive appointment which costs over $700. But this is what happened to my wife, so sad, this is my wifes words... The Center just called me and said their doctor and center is not a good "fit" for me. No reason given. But I know the reason is that I did not think the doctor had the right data for my upcoming appointment to discuss my bone health properly. I told the office staff that I hope I was wrong but please let me know if the doctor had all the information she would need. Because of my knowledge of my own health I thought the Dr. may be missing a test and maybe we should postpone the appointment so I could be sure the Dr. had all the needed information before coming to the appointment and not wast my time or $700 and need to come back. I kindly let them know that financially this was a challenge and I just wanted to make sure all the information was there so we didnt waste time or money. I was told I was not a good "fit" because I asked questions. So sad that they are truly ONLY in it for the money because they should have been open to a productive pre-appointment conversation. My guess is I dont think they knew enough about bone health and instead of being professional and helping me they told me I was not a good fit....

5 /5 Kady Egan: I have been under Dr. Moricz care for one week and already have felt a difference. He was able to find things that no other doctors have and it has literally changed my life. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He made me feel validated by listening to my concerns. Highly recommend!
