Emmanuel United Methodist Church

Smith Brian (DODFireNews) I visited this church and felt so welcomed. The congregation is full of kind, friendly people who made me feel right at home with their warm smiles. Pastor Steve was excellent, delivering a sermon that was heartfelt and inspiring. The church is a beautiful place, but the people make it truly special. It’s a lovely spot to connect and feel uplifted.

St. John the Evangelist Catholic Community

Tehya Champion St. John’s is wonderful! I am converting to Catholicism. The church is welcoming and has a nice big congregation as well as a beautiful sanctuary and Grotto. I love to go to Mass here and I don’t intend on leaving anytime soon. This church is very active and has many opportunities for parishioners to get involved in their community. For any non-catholics in Viera who are interested in Catholicism, please give this church a visit!

Harbor City Baptist Church

Connor Mahoney I greatly enjoyed my visit to Harbor City Baptist Church this morning. They are a reformed Baptist congregation that has been worshipping here since 1962. Pastor Matt Simpson was friendly and introduced himself to me after service. I learned he previously served as a military chaplain while enlisted at Patrick Airforce Base. The congregation was warm and inviting and enthusiastically sang traditional hymns. Unfortunately, I’m told they will be moving as the 11acre property and historic building have become unmanageable. Sad to here the building cannot be maintained, but looking forward to seeing what God has in store for this church in the future :)

Fresh Start Church

Jessica Fallah You will feel welcomed and treated like family from your first visit. Come as you are! Pastor Bruce is wonderful at making the scripture easy to understand and follow. The first church I have been a part of that has really helped me grow in my walk, and taught me what it is to truly follow Jesus.

His Place Ministries

Jason Laurance Always a positive message from church on Sunday’s to help keep my head up and stay strong, because of God’s love and grace in my life. Pastor Terry is a one-of-kind pastor that is genuine and only wants good for people. His wife Betty and co-singer Sally keep the songs familiar (no new age gospel here, nothing wrong with it, just not me ), and are uplifting and inspirational. The only place me and my wife feel comfortable

Grace Church Melbourne

Randall Wouters If you’re looking for a church that feels like home from the moment you walk in, look no further than Grace Church Melbourne. Our family has never experienced anything like it—authentic worship that invites the presence of God, powerful teaching, and a community that truly lives out what it means to be the Church. The Brotherhood men’s group has been life-changing for me personally. It’s rare to find a place where men can be vulnerable, challenged, and encouraged to lead in their homes and faith. Meanwhile, our kids absolutely love children’s church—they’re excited every Sunday and are learning real, foundational truths in fun and engaging ways. Our teenager has found a home in the youth group, building strong friendships and growing in their walk with Christ. As a family, we’ve plugged into fellowship opportunities that feel genuine and life-giving. Whether it’s Sunday services, midweek gatherings, or casual hangouts, Grace Church is a place where everyone is welcome, and no one walks alone. We’re incredibly grateful to have found a place where we fit, we grow, and we belong. Grace Church Melbourne is more than a church—it’s family.
