Shawn Brower Great Church!!! Pastor Shawn and his team are simply amazing. Very personable, and I would recommend anyone searching for a Church to attend, definitely give Everlasting Life a try!! You will not be disappointed.

Ariel W. The First Christian Church of Ft Lauderdale was started by Maude Bollinger and Ruth Repp who offered Sunday school classes on Repps front porch to the Ft Lauderdale community which was only 143 people at that time. Church services were held at several locations in Ft. Lauderdale including the old Fort Lauderdale Sentinel building. In 1925, a benefactor donated land for a church at the corner of Southeast 13th Street and Southeast Third Avenue on the site of a former rock pit. Lumber to build the church arrived on Sept. 16, 1926. The very next day the Hurricane of 1926 destroyed the church records, lumber, the tent they were working out of, and all of their equipment. Two children and two adult members of the congregation lost their lives. The church rose from this devastating loss and completed the church building in 1927. A later expanded building incorporates the original church structure. I love a historic church and I was able to check out First Christian Church of Ft Lauderdale during a tag sale. They held the sale in their basement! I was amazed that there was a building with an actual basement in South Florida. The congregation was so warm and welcoming and I got invited to church service by Katherine. This church is gorgeous and you can feel the history within its walls. Church services are held every Sunday at 10:45.

Andrea Tomasini I recently became a member of this wonderful church, and it has been a truly amazing experience. The sense of community here is remarkable, and Im excited to be a part of it. Overall, its a place where faith and fellowship come together beautifully. I would recommend First Pres to anyone that is looking for a church to call home.

From the moment you enter, there is a powerful feeling of love, peace, safety, and the knowing that you are in the right place. Rev. Bryan and Cynthia are passionate and authentic in everything they do, providing weekly doses of healing, positivity and wisdom to carry with you through the week. If youre questioning whether you should attend, that is a sign you definitely should.

Christina McGuire I recommend Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church and School to everyone who wants a safe, nurturing environment for their children. Our daughter had the best experience there and I credit Ms. Laura for being the most amazing VPK4 teacher that gave our daughter, Ava, a great 1st year of school which instilled a love of learning she still has at age 12. Ava is now proudly playing the drums for the Praise Service there on occasional Sundays taking turns with her father. We love our SOTC community and invite anyone to come and check it out. You will not be disappointed!

Emmanuelle Cador Its always a blessing to have sometimes at this church. We have a separate family restroom with chairs for breastfeeding and nursing mom in the ladies room. We also have a family worship place for parents who want to worship with their young children. And a nursery (0-2), family center for children (2-5), SurgeKids (5-11), Wired (middle schoolers), High schoolers, Vibe for young adults. All generations are welcome.

Jacqueline Rodriguez I had my sister’s memorial service this weekend at Christ Church and Pastor Josh did an amazing job. The church is absolutely beautiful and they were very patient and considerate.
