5 /5 Dani Bollettieri: I have been going to Les Cisseaux since I was in my 20s and I have always loved it. I recently moved back to Sarasota and I have had 2 appointments with Elizabeth. She is beyond fabulous. I have complicated hair! Lots of curly hair and I love it a specific color blond and more around my face since I put it up a lot. She does it perfectly! Color is phenomenal and when she blows it straight I love it!!! Plus she’s such a sweet person. Absolutely recommend!

1 /5 Becca S: Do not go here!!! Find a different salon if you care about your hair at all!! I came in for a simple root retouch and they FRIED OFF MY HAIR!! Please read this review before you book with them! My first appointment I asked to be put with a blonde specialist and they booked me with Elizabeth for a bleach root retouch. She gave me a massive orange band and when I pointed it out to her she told me it wasn’t there and when I asked multiple times for her to please fix it she covered it with a high lift hair dye. I told her that high lift hair dye doesn’t work on hair that’s already been bleached but she told me that this one did and unfortunately I decided to trust her. When she was done I was still left with the same massive orange band and my roots felt very dry but at that point I had already been there for hours and she was very rude so I just left and called the salon the next day. The first picture is of my hair in the car right after leaving my appointment with Elizabeth. When I called the next day I asked for a refund but they refused to give it to me and instead said I should come in and have it fixed by a different stylist. They put me with a supposedly very experienced stylist named Dawn. I told her that I was concerned with the integrity of my hair after the botched bleach job and high lift color Elizabeth had already done but Dawn told me that there would be no breakage and that she was careful. When Dawn was done with my hair she blow dried it straight and told me that there was no breakage and I even gave her a tip for fixing it but when I washed my hair a few days later I had short broken clumps of fried hair sticking right out of my part. It looks terrible and my hair is so thin and broken now I have to straighten the broken pieces down every day just to make it not look crazy. When I first saw how much of my hair had fried off I was so sad that I cried, and it’s so damaged that more and more breaks off every day. The second picture is what Dawn did to my hair and that’s just the pieces that broke off of my part, there is much more breakage underneath my hair. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else, they did irreversible damage to my hair that will take years to recover from so I posted my experience on yelp and google reviews to try to warn other women. Within 20 minutes of the post being up the salon called me and said they would refund my money, but only if I deleted my bad reviews. Since I was backed into a corner, I agreed so I could at least get my money back. But what they did is super unethical and actually illegal too. The fact that they would only refund my money if I took down my original review is honestly disgusting and this salon should be ashamed of themselves. I attached pictures of the federal law about bribing customers to delete their reviews, I’m assuming that they’ve done this to a lot of women because this is by far the worst salon experience I have ever had in my life and I hope this place gets shut down soon. If you’re reading this I hope you decide to go somewhere else so you don’t get taken advantage of and end up with fried off hair the way I did.

5 /5 Susan Ryan: In all my 15 years as Concierge at Lido Beach Resort, they are the most exquisite spa & salon in Sarasota. Ann gave me the best haircut of my life last Wednesday. Shes perfect. She is my my dream hair guru. I love this place ❤❤❤

I have passed by it many times over the years and never stopped in, but about a year ago I was looking for a new stylist because I had been getting "curly haircuts" and never really felt happy with them. I found Maria at Les Ciseaux salon spa Maria she understands where Im coming from. She is very knowledgeable and cuts my hair the way I ask and communicates with me throughout the haircut to make sure I will be happy with it. Blowouts seem to be popular at this salon so I feel at home. LOL Maria is happy to blow dry my hair so I feel good when I leave the salon. She also gives me tips for wearing my hair natural when I choose to. Ive never enjoyed going to hair salons because too many times I have left very sad because either the stylist didnt understand my hair and cut it in a way that would be hard to manage or just didnt listen to me at all and cut it however he or she wanted. I enjoy my appointments with Maria and the salon is unpretentious and comfortable. The employees there have always been very welcoming and friendly. Im very glad I found Maria and look forward to many more appointments with her.

5 /5 MEB: First, the place is very inviting and professionally staffed. You are greeted and welcome and immediately. My husband took me for a couples massage for my birthday in November, apparently my masseuse had an emergency and had to leave. Another lady stepped right up and did my massage. It was to be 90 minute, ended up being 60 minutes. It was one of the best massages Ive ever had! I was totally pampered while I waited and they made everything more than right for the mishap. Yesterday I returned for a complimentary pedicure, again it was a lovely experience! Jean did a fabulous job, Ill definitely returned! Thank you for your graciousness!
