Paul LaFiosca Excellent care from an Excellent Dr. and just as Excellent staff. Dr.James Brown has been my primary Dr. for more years than I can recall, 20+years? He, and his staff, are the very best that I’ve ever experienced & I am Old. Dr. Brown is exceptionally smart and easy to talk to, I’ve never been rushed through my appointment and he always, with his fantastic staff, make sure that I am well taken care of. They all, as a team, make sure my scripts are filled, referrals taken care of, etc. Dr.Brown & Staff are the reason I drive over 35 miles each way for my appointments. I wouldn’t be doing that if I had any negative experiences. The BEST Dr. and BEST Staff anywhere, I am surely grateful to cared for by them, 100%!!! ~~~~~ I posted the above a while ago, not sure of the exact date. I just saw Dr.Brown Friday 3/14/2025 and my thoughts are still the same, what I wrote previously is what I would write about my most recent visit to Dr.Brown & his staff. They are all excellent! I spent about 45 minutes with Dr. Brown as he went over every lab result where, I think, some Dr.s might try to save time by just saying ‘got your lab results, they’re fine’ and that would be that. Dr.Brown doesn’t rush you, explains everything, asks if I have anything new that needs his attention. He is, in my many many years of seeing many Dr.s in my lifetime, he is still the absolute best, without a doubt. The same with the staff, all of them from front office to nurses & etc., are all very nice, know what they are doing, set up future appointments ——- they are all excellent healthcare people. Dr. Brown & his staff just can’t be beat, there are none better!!!!!

madison nicole This has got to me the worst insurance ever. Nothing is ever covered even if you go to an in network provider on their “list”!! Be prepared to pay everything out of pocket on top of what they take out per paycheck. Absolutely ridiculous

L J Im extremely impressed with the Fitness Center at Halifax Hospital. Lynn the manager is an amazing asset to Halifax. Shes always willing to help and go the extra step. She is friendly, kind and very encouraging She never makes you feel like you are a bother. I was going to change insurance companies but it wouldnt have included this Fitness Center and because of that I decided to stay and not change my insurance, so I could stay at this Fitness Center because of the attention that youre given and the cleanlines of the gym. The staff is extremely friendly and the Fitness Center is very clean and always kept in an orderly fashion. Thanks to all, especially Lynn.

Elizabeth Price I booked an appointment online at 1am for 9am. I was early and made sure to do the check in. I was taken back early, tested, and spoken to in a timely and professional manner. I was on my way to pick up my prescription by 9:17. This is the quickest urgent care I have ever been to. Ive been with advent health since Oct of last year and havent had a bad experience with them at all. The urgent care visit was fast, the nurse made sure to ask about the tests I wanted to run, and the NP made sure to communicate with me, made sure to switch a prescription because of an allergy, and both told me and gave me written instructions for my prescription. All around just a pleasant experience which was wonderful to not be stressed out when I was feeling so ill. Thank you all so much!

Karen Milano Dr. Mercer has been my doctor since 2011. I have a lot of complex medical conditions and I really needed a doctor that I could trust and depend on. I have had many admits to the hospital and he has been there everyday, attending to me. He answers every call I make to him and always explains everything to me. He truly is exceptional! In addition, he has the best staff. They are always on the ball and handle everything promptly. Truly wonderful ! Thank you to all of you !

Kathy Lawrence Fantastic experience. Medical staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The surgical center is very clean and organized. The staff all worked very well with each other and were in sync. Everything flowed like clockwork from check-in to discharge. My procedure was done on time and I wasn’t there very long which is great because I wanted to go home and rest.

Steve Keller I’m alive today because of of Dr. Quadrat’s knowledge and skill. He is always friendly and supportive and his staff if efficient and helpful. Dr. Quadrat is a good communicator who spends time with patients. It is obvious that he cares about his patients. I had to move out of the Daytona area to Jacksonville and continued to travel to Daytona to see him because of his excellent care. I recently moved to Virginia to be near family, and one consideration in my difficult decision to move farther away was no longer being able to be his patient. I hope I can find a cardiologist half as good as Dr. Quadrat here in Virginia.

June Phillips I was inpatient for a total of 8 days. Although nobody wants to be in the hospital, the exceptional care and friendliness of everyone made it bearable. The ER was super busy but they seemed to keep that moving along and taking care of everyone as best as possible. Everyone on the 10th floor was exceptional, the cleaning staff, nurse techs, nurses, and docs… Thank you for the care and kindness!

Carra M. (Sculptr) Kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. I cant imagine going to anyone else but Dr. Arab. The staff is great and treats patients with respect. I highly recommend both Dr. Arab and his staff.
