1 /5 Mayra Rodriguez: Was excited to make an appt with Dr. Recio until I called. The receptionist was so dismissive and uncaring. Definitely a 9-5 worker. After I hung up I immediately called to cancel after realizing the horrible customer service I received. I feel bad for the owner who doesnt even know whats going on when patients call.

5 /5 Jiahui Guo: Dr. Fernando Recio is an amazing physician and surgeon. When I asked my OBGYN and a doctor from the hospital about him, they described him as "a master". He has the best bedside manner that reduced my anxiety about a surgery that is necessary for me. This is my first-ever surgery in my life and I was very worried. The surgical coordinator quickly responded to any questions related to my surgery, which helped me tremendously. The surgery went well and although it is longer than I expected and its more complicated than we thought but it was a success! Dr. Fernando Recio explained what happened during the surgery during the post-op appointment. Nurse Practitioner Nicole Joseph patiently explained to me about my condition and the follow-up care after surgery. I am 4 months post-op now and I completely recovered. I felt miserable for a while before the surgery but now the pain is gone and my energy is back! Thanks to Dr. Fernando Recio and his wonderful team!

1 /5 Giselle: I am writing this review 4 yrs after my experience with this Dr Recio and i really regret not writing it sooner but when someone tells you you have cancer you go numb and just do what the dr tells you without thinking he could possibly be wrong..or get a 2nd opinion....its naive but i was naive....Dr Recio put me thru 3 rounds unnecessary chemo treatment - taxol- carbo for my cervical cancer...he told me the chemo was necessary because they had found a 1 1/2 cm tumor in my lymph nodes...chemo is cruel...i followed his instructions and after chemo he gave me a hysterctomy...i never needed chemo...the so called tumor was a hernia that had gotten infected and just needed repair...i never had a tumor...i lost all my hair for nothing- it did grow back of course but the side effects of chemo are no joke and i will always blame him for putting me thru unnecessary pain... my new dr is much more competent and told me all i needed was the hysterctomy and then a biopsy on my lymph nodes to check for any cáncer there. Dr Recio never gave me a biopsy....get a 2nd or 3rd opinion please...have someone close help you along and stay away from Recio..his bedside manners are just mean too...he looked at me and told me i would lose all my long beautiful hair in my face-- what kind of person says that..let alone a dr....do your research and be smart..he probably does these overly aggresive treatments on women all the time..
