1 /5 John Niumata: I want to start by acknowledging that the shop has a convenient location and a friendly front desk staff. However, my recent experience left me quite disappointed. The work took much longer than expected (over 2 months) mostly due to their policy to only be open 4 days a week. When the car was returned, the issue was fully resolved, however due to the "educated guess" style of diagnosis the process cost me much more than it should have. (replaced computer when the computer was not the problem)
I felt the communication throughout the process could have been much better, as I was often left wondering about the status of my vehicle, and told more than once that they tried to call me but could not get through (unlikely) , however no messages were left on voicemail.
One main issue I had was that I was told that they would get a replacement computer, but if the computer was not the problem, then they would put the old computer back in and not charge me. The computer was not the problem, but I still got charged for it, the actual problem was a bad injector.
Once they found the issue with the injector, they even insinuated that I caused the issue (or at least knew about it) by installing the injector incorrectly (I dont know why this kept coming up ??) - The injector had been running for at least 100k miles, so its installation did not seem the issue.
Transparency with customers, an honest candid dialogue and doing what you say, are crucial for building trust. I appreciate the effort of the staff but would recommend they focus on proper diagnostic procedures, timely service.
