1 /5 Boomba M: Based on another website, Metzger had 5 star reviews across the board which had me feeling really positive about seeing him for initial cardiac work up.
Positive: Office wait was surprisingly short and initial intake with nurse was comfortable and she was kind. Met with Dr. M and shared concerns, they did quick EKG and recommended I get outfitted for heart rate monitor for 1 week, get Calcium score and send over labwork for review. Prior to leaving I was told someone would call me to come back in for heart rate monitor.
Negative: Initial appointment was 2 weeks ago - no one has called to set up appointment to get heart rate monitor. I left 2 messages prior (no call back).
Per their request, I emailed labwork to Dr./Nurse and asked them to confirm receipt - no reply.
Called and asked for them to please confirm labwork was received - no reply.
Needless to say, I will not be going back as there is lack of appropriate follow up which sends the message that patient care and follow up is not a priority. I can only imagine for those who have major cardiac issue....I would hope their experience is not the same as mine.
