Car Doctor - Fort Lauderdale (FL)

5 /5 Terry Turl: I am a Canadian senior on a motorcycle trip from Toronto around the southern states. My bike wouldnt start in Fort Lauderdale. Called Car Doctor and they responded immediately telling me to bring in the battery asap for testing and possibly charging. Mike met me at the door, I handed him my battery. Turns out it was flatter than piss on a platter. Mike put it on charge and I picked it up early the next morning. Mike hooked it up to his meter to show me the battery fully charged. When I asked how much I owed him, he shook his head and said, nothing. Wow. He wouldnt take any money. Great guy with a wonderful attitude. I put it in my bike and I am back on the road. Thanks Mike for your service and generosity.

5 /5 Rick Hilliard: Im from out of state and came to Miami to buy a car and I wound up having a lot of problems with the car. The check engine light was on the emissions light was on. The airbag light was on. But I really liked the car that I bought. I was driving the car back home 800 miles away. So I got a motel room for the night. I got extremely lucky that the room was just a few blocks away. I Googled car repairs in the vicinity from where I was staying. Car Doctor came up as one of the results. I called them and a man by the name of Michael answered the call. I told him briefly the problems I was having with the car. He said that it would cost me $45 to diagnose the car. That price in its self was very reasonable. I explained to Michael that I was staying in a motel and I was from out of state and I had to be out of the room with a few hours. About an hour after the dropping the car off he called me and said that the car had so many problems with it that it would cost thousands to fix. Michael was extremely helpful and saved me from a nightmare. I really appreciate his time in his help with this matter. He couldve easily charged me a couple hundred dollars and sent me on my way. I can tell you Michael is a very nice and honest guy. I saw his wife and his little girl at the shop. I would highly recommend Car Doctor for anybody that needs their car repaired. Its nice to know there are some honest mechanic out there still trying to make a living and NOT ripping people off. Car Doctor is a great place. I also really appreciate that if your family run business.

5 /5 Ron Thayer: My son and his friends were in the area for a vacation and were rear-ended. We needed to have the car and damage inspected to ensure they could safely make it home. Mike was extremely accommodating, fitting us in for an inspection just a few minutes after our call. He followed up with me and my son to share his findings. His call was very reassuring, especially to this parent who was hundreds of miles away. Solid, old-school customer service! Highly recommend!

5 /5 Richard Freitag: I cant recommend a place more than Mike and Car Doctor...he took such great care of my Mom. I live 700 miles away and its hard to make sure shes driving as safe car. Hes has my cell number and whenever he spots trouble with her, he call me...even if its not about her car! A great guy, great professional and gifted businessman! All the best to you ,Mike!
