5 /5 Joe Hunter: The best care Ive seen of any hospital. The way theyre set up should be nationwide. Exceptional care by the doctors and nurses. Having tablets in every room that keep you updated on everything is a great idea that should be nationwide.

1 /5 Marcie Tanner: Care Managent is far from caring. My dad has been in this hospital for over 2 weeks now, and the only thing this department is worried about is treating and streeting him - getting him out so they can get someone else in his bed. Disgusting. They never once gave us information about a 3rd party vendor who could help us with getting him Medicaid, nor did they discuss Advent Hospice with us. We have done all the work without their help, they only get in the way and dont listen to the family. Terri, Amber, April and Becky are some of the worsts to deal with. We speak one day, then another one calls with no idea what is going on, then another one calls the next day with no idea what is going on, and so on. I just dont understand why all of the confusion with this department. No empathy, no caring and absolutely no patience with families. Sad, but true. If I were you I would move out of Daytona Beach and never go to Halifax or Advent. So not worth the trouble.

5 /5 Julie Norton: I had to go here yesterday for an emergency health issue. I was very stressed and upset but I must say how amazing the nurses, Doctors, and check in staff were! They made me feel calm and cared for. Nurse Holly was amazing! What compassion and excellence they have! They took their time with me and fixed me all up! Highly recommend this hospital!

1 /5 Mattie Aikens: Subject: Incident Report and Concern Regarding Employee Behavior Dear AdventHealth Daytona Beach I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred on Friday, March 7, 2025, between approximately 2:50 PM and 3:40 PM, while I was traveling on US 1 and merging onto Interstate 95 South. During my merge behind a box truck, a GMC truck rushed up behind me. As I continued onto Interstate 95 South and merged into the fast lane, the GMC truck remained in the slow lane for some time before accelerating and colliding with my vehicle three times. I was adhering to the speed limit and was unable to match his speed, which seemed to escalate his frustration. After the incident, I activated my OnStar service, and the driver of the GMC truck exited at Exit 268. During my call, I followed him to his workplace, AdventHealth Daytona Beach, located at 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy, Daytona Beach, FL 32117. When he exited his vehicle, he claimed that I was harassing him and attempted to speak with security. The Florida Highway Patrol arrived and conducted an investigation; however, they did not issue the driver a ticket or make an arrest. I am particularly concerned about the conduct of the driver, identified as RO Herbent Lorentz, who appeared to lie about the incident. Moreover, during my time at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, I encountered Nurse Renee, who was quite unpleasant in her demeanor, in stark contrast to the security staff, who were helpful and supportive. As someone who was nearly placed in a life-threatening situation due to aggressive and reckless driving, I find it troubling that an individual with Mr. Lorentzs behavior is employed by your organization, especially given the high-stakes environment of a healthcare facility. My family and I are deeply shaken by this experience, and I felt it necessary to bring this situation to your attention, not only for my own sake but for the safety of others who may encounter this individual in the future. Thank you for taking the time to read my email. I hope to hear back regarding any actions that may be taken in response to this incident. Security guard DJ, Phillips and other was nice but DJ was getting little bit aggressive at the end of the night. Sincerely,

5 /5 Marta Crespo-Rosado: My husband had a heart procedure yesterday. The whole staff were amazing, specially Nurse Brandi and Nurse Michael. We all were treated with respect and we felt at home. Dr. Taher A. Khalil did a great job on performing the procedure. We are so happy we went to Advent Memorial Hospital. Thank you all!
