1 /5 MAURICIO J STEIN: I had one of the worst experiences with UFC FIT Plantation.
Back in April 2025, I signed up for a free trial. Before the trial expired, I told the sales rep I wasn’t ready to commit since I wanted to compare other gyms in the area. I was told that was fine, but they insisted I “leave my information in the system” so that if I came back later, everything would already be set up. I was explicitly told I would not be charged.
After the trial, I never returned to the gym and ended up joining another facility. To my surprise, I later discovered multiple charges on my account that I never authorized.
On August 14th, I contacted the GM, Matthew Vistoso, who apologized and said he would loop in the operations team. Since then, I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails (August 20, September, etc.) and called the location directly, yet no one has resolved the issue. At one point, the manager at the Plantation location told me there was “nothing he could do” and that I had supposedly signed an agreement — which was presented to me under misleading circumstances.
Despite repeatedly asking for the charges to stop, they have continued billing me for a gym I never used after my trial.
This gym has shown dishonest sales practices, zero accountability, and complete lack of customer service. I would strongly recommend avoiding UFC FIT Plantation unless you want to deal with misleading contracts, unauthorized charges, and managers who ignore your requests.
