1 /5 Andrew: Tim shaw agency was fantastic. It was 5 stars. I could always go in and get help on anything in person. Through tim shaw ins. I had 2 different flood insurances and car insurance. Since acentria took over, its near impossible to get ahold of them. I recently found out that my flood insurance has been overcharging me for the last 8 years at least. I have emailed acentria and left a voicemail on friday. Today is tuesday. And have heard nothing from them. I called the front office and this woman transferred me to a line that went directly to voicemail. I left a voicemail. And about an hour later called back to see if she can transfer me to another person. And she says you just have to wait. I said ive been waiting since last friday. I was upset. That i can never get ahold of anyone in this company. I told her you dont understand how important this is. (She said here at acentria every customer is important). Hartford told me they can reimburse the money ive lost. But i need accentria to send them paperwork showing im primary owner.

She has always replied to my emails and calls whenever Ive needed to contact her for an issue/question with my policies. Im very happy with her service and will be more than happy to work with her again in the future.

Lisa Baker went way above and beyond and found me great coverage that was thousands less than the next lowest company. She then worked with me through the entire process. I would highly recommend her and her agency!

1 /5 Jon Henderson: This firm is absolutely terrible. No communication, no review, just pay your premium and hope for the best. They are totally reactive, not proactive. Their Medicare pro was terrible-cost me hundreds of dollars. Go elsewhere. They allowed my flood insurance to lapse, so now I am faced with 4X the premium. Ive never pursued a firm for total incompetence, but I am very close to going to the state insurance commissioner.

1 /5 Sallie Troutman: My insurance company sold their business to Acentria. I have had several terrible experiences with this company, well before Hurricane Ian. After Hurricane Ian, my agent NEVER returned my calls to file a claim. I had to call the corporate to file my claim. More recently, in the middle of March, I contacted them to re-shop my insurance, and after providing my 4 point inspection and Wind Mitigation to them on March 14, even though the agent promised to get back to me in a day or two, as of April 3, I have heard NOTHING. Dont waste your time with this agency!
