George Miller III - Richmond Emma Garrido: This is a very good school they do art projects they teach the kids how to write their name and learn other words. Curious Explorers Academy - Richmond Sandy Hurtado: We are blessed to have found CEA for my 4 year old daughter. I decided to enroll her here based on the parents reviews and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this school. My daughter is thriving with her speech versus when she started in August ‘23 she was able to only say a few words and now she is able to have a conversation and express herself clearly. I love to see Amrita and all the teacher work together to create learning fun and at the same time teaching them daily life skills. I would encourage every parent who is looking for a place where their kids are treated with kindness, respect and love to enroll them here. I can’t wait to see what my daughter will learn by the end of this year.
Thanks CEA ❤️ Richmond field station - Richmond Sina Naeimi: This is campus affiliated with UC Berkeley. So moat probably you are reading bc you want to go there and have no idea about the place. Here are a few points:
1- the place is remote. You need a vehicle. A car is the best thing. You will have tons of free parking and EV charger inside.
Bicycles and scooter help you too. You can definitely walk there too, but it won’t be a pleasant path. If you are riding your bicycle, you can use the Bay Trail. There is an-almost-hidden door to the facility from the Bay Trail. Have fun discovering it. You will need your activated UC Berkeley OneCard for entering through that door though.
2- There is no food place inside or around the facility. Bring your own food or use any food delivery app. There is a cafeteria inside, but it’s not operational at the time of writing this comment.
3. The doors are open only between 7 am to 6 pm. After hour accessing is through another door. Again, you need an activate UC Berkeley OneCard.
4. The pavement around the outside of the facility sucks. Be cautious with potholes.
5. If you are going to work for a prolonged amount of time there, you may feel isolated. This is not a busy, vibrant campus.
6. There are warnings required by the state of California saying that you should not eat anything grown from the ground or hunt and eat any animal living there bc of some sort of possible contamination on the soil. There are many wild turkeys living and flourishing in the facility and the area around there. Do NOT hunt them. However, they are not law abiding creatures and may follow and haunt you id you get close to their male one. Be careful. There are some geese around too sometime. They are cool. Be friends with them.
