Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi - Corpus Christi Chloe Johnston: I had a horrible experience here. I did my undergrad somewhere else. Decided to come here for my masters when I moved areas of the state since it was local. It was a complete shock to me. This campus is almost incompetent. You ask questions and nobody truly knows anything. Not even the associate deans of colleges. You ask them things, they say they will get back with you, and never do. I’ve heard very similar stories from other students as well. Or if they tell you something, it’s last minute and it stresses you out. We are trying to plan ahead and the faculty and staff won’t let you do that. They’re procrastinators. I left after a semester because I couldn’t stand the unprofessionalism. When they know you’re leaving, they get offended and angry with you. It’s because they know they’re not good at their jobs

University of Texas, Marine Science Institute - Port Aransas Kyle Hauk: Great place to explore. Would be excellent for school field trips. Can be in & out in 30 minutes or if you have more time you can spend it in their wetland area or looking at birds. Good experience.

University of Houston-Victoria - Victoria Rebecca Ethridge: **This is from my online experience NOT in person** Overall my experience here wasnt the best, but it wasnt as horrible as I had experienced with the previous university. For the MOST PART the professors I had were good, but they were either good professors or they were HORRIBLE, there was no in between. The reason Im giving this three stars is because Im having to drop out because I dont have 2 accounting classes, which means I have to be a transient at a different college for 1-2 semesters and pay out of pocket (which I cant do) all because of TWO classes. The reason is because they dont offer lower level classes here at all, but especially online where its even more limited. I work full time so I cant attend school in person. But when I entered the Human Resources Management (HRM) program I was told that it was available fully online and that I would be able to complete the degree with all the classes I already had. This was a lie, which I find out when I only have 2 semesters left before I graduate. Now, Im having to drop with only 2 semesters (nearly one year) left all because I was lied to about the program at the beginning before I applied. Everyone here (meaning financial aid, admin. people, etc.) were very nice, but they lied just to get me into the school. Overall, dont attend here unless you have every last one of your lower level classes completed or youll end up like me over 2 accounting classes that you cant complete. Very frustrating.
