Atlantis University - MiamiJose Rosario Terrero: Atlantis University was the best option for me and also feel like home. Spent two years here and I became a better person and better athletic. Im graduating this December 2025 in Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Also they were for me always and I need help. I really recommend any students around the world that come to Atlantis University
Barry University - Miami Shores904 CZV: What can I say: I love Barry. Even though I live way up here in Jax, I commuted down there for classes once a month. It was worth it to me. I’m in the PhD nursing program and I can say it really changed my life. Dr. Jessie Colin, who is also my chair, is the most intelligent and remarkable person I have ever met. The 5 stars is for her and how she is running the doctoral program. Thank you Dr. Colin! The rest of the nursing faculty are also wonderful. Lovely women (too many to name). I’m so glad I made the decision to come to this school. I’ve learned so much that this post would be too long to describe it all! It’s an intellectually challenging program, so be ready to learn.
This school in general really focuses on social justice. If you are not open minded to multi-culturalism and discovering new ways of thinking outside of the norm, this may not be the school for you. I tell people this because I know how the culture is in America today (ignorance is bliss). You have to accept to live the ‘Barry Life’, which is being open to culture and seeking justice for those whose voices might go unheard.
Like some say on other reviews, yes, the area in which the school is in is kinda sketchy. And be prepared, the student parking is awful. The biggest parking lot is a couple blocks away and you have to take a shuttle to get to the campus. It’s a small campus but quite beautiful.
St. Thomas University - Miami GardensJones Junior: Amazing university! Great structure, amazing body of teachers, place clean and very organized! Highly recommended!
Florida National University - HialeahMoon Light: Be aware of this school before getting into the nursing program they lie to you in order to get you in the program but then things are different, after you pass the TEAS exam and you get into the actual nursing classes you have to pay the LABS more less $600 every 3 months, like isnt it enough paying the school 56k they also charge you for the labs classes like that is not fair and then for the people who works and then try to go to school this does not work because the clases start at 4 or 3 pm and for the clinical after you are done with all clases is the day then want you cant pick if going on weekends lr the days that are better for you , so like 0 flexibility, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU ONLY YOUR MONEY so if you dont have the time of the world and the money dont come here.
FIU Miami Beach Urban Studios - Miami BeachSebastian Varillas: My experience at Miami Beach Urban Studios was underwhelming. I can only point out two good things about this place: their amazing coordinator, Jacqueline Thompson, and being able to walk to the beach because it was nearby. Their technology might be advanced but it is of no use when your professors decide that it is not necessary for any of your assignments. There was nothing I could do here that I could not have done at MMC, so coming here twice a week for a whole semester felt like a waste of time, energy and money.
West Coast University - Miami - DoralMike P: A close relative of mine failed her recent class in Pediatrics which they tested for this week. All this began when the original teacher had to leave due to pregnancy and was replaced by someone less competent who taught from her experience instead of the assigned material. So because she followed her own agenda but tested the students using West Coast material, the students were placed at a disadvantage. Most of the class failed this week and what this looks like is a waste of $$ and time. West Coast needs to make this right. What West Coast did to my relative is an embarrassment. You have no idea the financial burden you place on our family. All because putting incompetent teachers to teach at times. I definitely would rethink befor sending my kids to this school.
Lindsey Hopkins Technical College - MiamiJames White: Lindsey Hopkins Technical College is THE flagship for adult and career/technical education in Miami-Dade County. There is a variety of programs ranging from ESOL and GED to HVAC, electricity, culinary, and fashion programs where students can get industry certified. The faculty and staff are friendly and professional, and the facility is safe with an outstanding security team. The number of students Ive seen more success stories than you would believe including students that started in the ESOL program, registered for CTE classes and then got employed with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
