Rice University Moody Center For The Arts - Houston Tyler Bingham: Its a joy to visit the Moody. Their spaces are filled with provocative installations, 2-D & 3-D pieces, and video. Their choices of art pieces (and artists) regularly blow my hair back (think Maxell Commercial), and get my mind working in unexpected directions. The interior of the building is filled with all kinds of contemporary nuggets! Its a personal space, no crowds, amble room to breathe & visually explore.

San Jacinto College - District Office - Pasadena Michael Rangel: I am extremely disappointed. I have been trying to get my application to enroll done for the last 2 1/2 months going on three. I submitted everything that was required and it has taken them this long just to get my High School Transcript to financial aid to be approved. There’s nobody that you can speak to there’s no way to speed up this process. The overall process to get a student enrolled gets a one star. There has to be a better system. There is absolutely no reason someone should have to wait months to pursue their education. San Jacinto College needs to do better.

San Jacinto College North Campus - Houston lili: I had a virtual appointment with Barron Acenet. We had problems with signal but I did show her my ID. She said to leave the meeting and sign in again. So I did that. But I was not able to connect with her again. So I received a message from her saying " that we already lost time and I need to make another appointment". That easy for them to not do their job. It was an appointment for 30 mins and we lost 10 mins not a reason to cancel. Also I was hearing and seeing her very well. It was her who was saying that she couldnt see me or hear me well. I just needed to get help to register from a class that was all that wouldnt take too much time for them to do it. She event try to call me to do it by phone how other times advisors did when there is problems with signal. So I went in person that way there were no issues with " signal " but they take at least one to two hours to get with them. No matter there are not too many students waiting. My son is about to graduate this year from high School. We received some emails from San Jac to get enrolled with them. But of course not that not going to happen after these issues with that college and that experience with that advisor. He has taken dual credit with Lone Star College, also talked to advisors over there and we have never had any issues in two years with Lone Star College. The wait time is longer just to talk with advisors. I recommend Lone Start College
