5 /5 dardmaniac1: I am at the end of the Veterinary Assisting program and from my point of view and experiences, it has been an amazing time. The cost is high, and the work is abundant in a very short amount of time, but it is easily manageable. Working full time while still attending class, I was able to complete work easily and passed every class. The hands on you get at the SPCA is priceless. The people there are great and very willing to help you learn, and the animals are very fun to work with. One of the reviews for CCC that has one star is a review made from the experience she had. I personally met her and at the time, there was some confusion with instructors and we also had an over-sized class. This caused inter turmoil between students and teachers. Please take her review into consideration, but not as a fact. Some of the students that came in at the same time as her stayed and are continuing through the program. They all seem to be enjoying it just as much as I have. If you are questioning whether to enroll in the Veterinary Assisting Program, give them a call and set up an appointment for information.
