National University - Chula Vista Scm: I’m extremely frustrated with National University and how poorly they’ve handled my state aid situation. I’ve been an alumni since 2021, and it’s crazy to think that even after completing my program, I’m still dealing with these issues months later. What makes it worse is the complete lack of communication , no one updates you unless you constantly reach out, and even then, the answers are vague, delayed, or completely unhelpful.
This has never been a problem during my time as a student, so it’s disappointing to see how things have fallen apart post-graduation. I expected more support, especially after committing so much time and money to this school. It’s unacceptable that something that should be straightforward is being dragged out for months with no real progress.
National University really needs to do better for their current students and alumni. The lack of organization, communication, and accountability is beyond frustrating. Southwestern College - Chula Vista Lorena H: This has been the family college for almost 25 years. It was like a second home to me. I used to take my child with me to classes since she was 2 1/2 y/o... definitely this is not typical. In general is a pretty good school. I whish they had more help for people with disabilities. The Counselors are nice, but the resources are not the best. Some areas could have better light, such as the area of the gym and the driveway that runs between the PAC and the entrance if the stadium by H street. MiraCosta College - Oceanside Jan Neff-Sinclair: I go to school and work here and I love both. Great looking campus, dedicated and interested instructors, friendly students, and over fifty on-campus clubs. MiraCosta College Community Learning Center - Oceanside jerry kubis: I have never had a better experience getting back into taking college courses than with MiraCosta, the most helpful was by going to the Community Learning Center on Mission Avenue and speaking with Dunia Azizi who is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful getting everything on track for the upcoming semester, the center is located at 1831 Mission Ave and I highly recommend her to anyone trying to get back into school
