Lisa Grech Wilfredo and the team of mechanics at Kondo Motors are the BEST! I have gone to them for 12 years now, and even drive up from San Diego County (yes, 5 hours round trip) and have them do my car repairs, since I moved out of the area. They diagnose the issues, give an honest and clear picture of the issues and associated estimates, and fix what is needed. Sometimes they have sent me away, letting me know there is no service needed at the moment. They do not upsell things or recommend things that are not needed. They are honest, trustworthy, kind, generous, friendly, and expert mechanics and advisors. I recommend them without hesitation and appreciate everything they have done as my trusted mechanics throughout the years. I recommend that you call to schedule in advance, as they are in demand and booked out often with their happy clients, like me!

Michael is one of those rare mechanics who actually cares—not just about your car, but about you. He’s the kind of guy who will actually try to fix the weird mystery problem everyone else gave up on, and somehow... figure it out. Its like hes part mechanic, part wizard. And Tito? Tito is the quiet force that keeps everything moving. He’s kind, steady, and works his tail off. These two together? Dynamic duo status. Finding an honest, down-to-earth mechanic who doesn’t talk down to you or try to sell you on nonsense is like finding a parking spot in Venice—miraculous. Do yourself a favor and bring your car here.

YenHao Liao Bob is fantastic, warming, and nice! We got our car checked, and the process went smoothly and quickly. Everything is fair price, and Bob also told us some issues we should pay attention to but not in urgency, so it saves us a bunch of money for now! Highly recommended for anyone near the area who has car issues to check this place out, especially for the UCLA university village community, which we belonged to and where we found others’ recommendations for Bob’s service.

Ammar I have been getting my NX here for service since I bought it and my experience has been consistently above expectations. The staff is very welcoming, professional and friendly. The space is very clean and well maintained and the wait times if you have an appointment are negligible. They also offer loaners which is super convenient. The executive that I work have been working with (Mario Rea, shout-out to him) is great. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Will highly recommend the location!

Gina Caliboso I cannot recommend Villa Marina Auto Care enough! The services I receive are always very thorough and timely. I have an older 2012 Kia Soul and when it comes to major repairs, VMAC has always proven to be honest about necessary repairs versus a service that can wait. Fernando also provides excellent future service advice about oil changes, etc. Also, I take the AAA approved status as helpful and with a great guarantee of work should something happen. I also recommend you plan and make an appointment. Drop off your car in the morning and hope to pick it up before closing. I recommend you make on your appt on a weekday instead of a weekend.
