He communicates throughout the process in the most competent, informative, and reassuring way imaginable. Josh, Hannah, and the others are also dependably pleasant and knowledgeable. Augustus Yuan My car broke down in Point Reyes this past weekend because of an oil leak (the plug fell out completely) so I had to tow to their location after hours. They called promptly when they opened up to follow up on the issues. Stellar communication and customer service from both Alexandra and Roman. They not only replaced my oil drain plug, but they also identified some other things in my car they were able to fix very quickly. When I went to pick up my car, they were patient to answer all my questions related to the condition of my car, what may have caused the plug to fall out, and showing me the cracked serpentine belt that needed replacing. I highly recommend this place if you need you car getting looked at! They also have AAA discount :)

Cristina st. germain My husband and I were mid road trip home when we ran into some car troubles. Ended up being turbo engine trouble for a Hyundai 2017. R&I was able to work with us as we coordinated a ride home and communicated the situation throughout the week as work was done. They did the work and I drove up to get the car, which ended up being after hours, so a lockbox pick up was coordinated. For being 100+ miles away from him/my car the majority of the exchange, this business really heeded the call and kept a bad situation from becoming worse. If you are near the San Rafael area, I would highly recommend this business and it’s customer service.

Miguel A Paredes III I went to the Porsche Dealership and I was quoted a couple thousand dollars more than HLM to have my Clutch and IMS bearing replaced on my 996 Porsche 911. They even changed my oil. Owner knows Porsches very well as he has owned a few himself. If you are looking for a great mechanic shop I highly recommend HLM. Thank you Kohn.

Bryce Parmelly There just arent many places these days that do amazing work and arent out to make a buck. I used to do as much of my own work as I could to avoid crazy marin mechanic costs, but once I found this place I dont go anywhere else. They are honest, fair, and actually care about customer support. I have worked with Jason numerous times and he always takes care of me and is is totally honest about what I DO and DON"T need. He (and the other mechanics) take time to explain whats going on and again charge incredibly less than any other mechanic Ive been to in Marin. You just feel good working with this place, never gonna leave if I dont have to. Thanks Jason for all your care over the years.
