Providence Saint Johns Health Center - Santa Monica Emergency Room

Caroline Pathy Really great experience - saw the triage nurse within a couple of minutes - and the waiting room was half full. Didn’t see a doctor for 1.5 hours but I guess there were others more serious than me. Then when I saw a doctor, support was fantastic - really thorough set of tests and very little waiting time between them, all clearly explained to me, and all the staff were lovely. There was a choice to keep me in or send me home, doctor explained the options and we both agreed that I was better at home. I felt really confident with the choices that were made. Thanks to everyone in the team!

Santa Monica Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Group

Bridget Littell One of the best experiences Ive had at a doctors office. Everyone I interfaced with was kind, patient and professional. HIGHLY recommend this group, especially Dr. Gerhart who is extremely knowledgeable.

Raouf G. Hallis, MD

Sherri Stokes I am completely shocked at the change in care that I have received in this office with Dr. Hallis. I have attempted to have a prescription refilled for three weeks with no avail. I have not received any responses in the UCLA system by the doctor, nor any of his constituents. As a professional myself, I am baffled at the lack of care, and respect that this office is giving patients. Looking at the previous review, I am no longer surprised. I suggest to anyone looking for a physician in the Santa Monica area to look elsewhere. What a complete disaster. ETA: All good things come to an end, Dr. Hallis. You were always kind. You did that. Be proud of your journey & God bless U on your retirement…you deserve it & it’s time. Thank you…

Molly Maguire Miller No matter how open ended your trip is Dr Rock & Harry have you covered! Totally different experience than all the other travel doctors I’ve seen. In the end also was significantly less pricy than the others in the area.

UCLA Health Santa Monica Pulmonary Sleep Clinic

Miyako Igari This place is top notch. I have been horribly late ( in excess of 30 minutes) to two appointments due to bad luck in general, and they were kind enough to fit me in-- that shows sincere compassion and dedication to patient care. Dr Alfonso Padilla and the RT Jose Salo never once made me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience. They were great teachers and explained everything in terms I could understand, with my new diagnosis. Today I worked with a respiratory therapist Jose Salo who was absolutely stellar in terms of teaching me the ins and outs of my equipment, troubleshooting my mask, and showing me what my data means. He was able to address all of my questions, was patient and kind, and had a lot of tips to optimize mask comfort and best practices for maintenance of the parts. I felt compelled to write a review due to the support I received from Jose and this clinic in general. Thank you to this clinic and UCLA in general, every experience has been pretty exceptional.

UCLA Health

Lola May Completely inefficient and horrible traffic to even reach a simple consult. Located in horrible area with doctors and staff with zero empathy.

Daniel T. Lee, MD

Scott E Dr. Lees next appointment is in the middle of September...its May 16th. What? Dr. Lee isnt a specialist...hes not an orthopedic surgeon. Hes an internist. Why would you wait that long to see your primary care doctor? What medical condition do you have that allows you to wait that long? If someone can wait 4 months to see a primary care doctor, then they dont really need a doctor. If the Dr. is just a yearly physical doctor, then maybe he should market himself that way. "You can see me once a year, but thats it." And I see that Dr. Lee is accepting new patients. Ahh maybe he shouldnt be. I have lived part of my adult life in the Netherlands and you can see world class doctors within a week...sometimes the same day. But I dont think its just a broken system in the US...I booked a well-reviewed doctor with the Cedars medical group for next week. Maybe its UCLA Health that doesnt work.
