5 /5 Bridget Littell: One of the best experiences Ive had at a doctors office. Everyone I interfaced with was kind, patient and professional. HIGHLY recommend this group, especially Dr. Gerhart who is extremely knowledgeable.

1 /5 Ryan Pourian Rightway Apartment Services: This is not an office that cares about any patient. Please be aware that this doctors office cares only about your money and nothing else. I was a few minutes late after calling to notify office and was told that it is not a problem and just to come in after driving 45 minutes and being late 15 minutes doctor denied to see me and sent me away. I guess courtesy means nothing, when they schedule a time for you to come in and make you wait an hour is ok but for the doctor to see you when your 15 minutes late is an issue, so ironic.

4 /5 Charlotte Johnson: I am totally confused by the negative reviews posted here. I generally dont write reviews but was so impressed by the caliber of the care and staff i had to write one. I recently had an accident breaking both my hand and my ankle. I called the day after going to the emergency room and Dr. Kidd was able to see me that day and treat both my hand and my ankle which to me was pretty astounding. He got me out of the splints and into a walking boot and brace and my healing began. His staff is incredibly helpful -- returned calls, got me in when i needed for follow up etc. I am not an easy patient and i had several issues along the way. Rashekah (sp?) was incredibly helpful and when i reinjured my ankle got me in immediately. Dr. Kidd was great -- spent time answering my questions and watching me have a melt down -- listened and responded to what i needed. Randi, one of their cast techs, is a master at casting and care. When i had to go into a cast for my hand which was slow to heal she was incredibly understanding and kind. when i started hyper ventilating having a cast on my hand, she helped me through it enabling me to keep the cast on for two weeks and let my hand heal. I was met with nothing but kindness and care. there were a couple of communication glitches but its up to me to make sure im understood and get what i need. I love the texting feature for appointments and communication -- I could call and text. God knows i dont always respond to calls immediately and if i didnt hear back i would call or text and get a response. Going back a couple of years i saw Dr Knapp for a shoulder issue and he and his staff were equally attentive and responsive. I hope im done with broken bones - 5 in 6 months, but i would definitely return here if injured again. Didnt give them 5 stars because that would be perfection and no one is perfect. definitely recommend!!!

1 /5 Jen: I travel within and out of the country for my husbands career. Despite having some chronic health issues, I have never had an issue with finding quality medical professionals until this incident. My primary doctor referred me to a surgeon after telling me hes never seen shoulders so bad in his career.I Called, called and called to make an initial appointment, but they dont do the phone thing. Text was the only option & since no one responded to calls.I tried the text method & it still took 3 days to respond. I explained my lengthy situation in this text with whoever finally responded. It couldve been a janitor, I dont know. Knowing how healthcare cares less about charging insurance companies I knew I would need an updated MRI prior to the appointment,suggesting that I do so to avoid more wasted time & due to my pain level being unbearable as I need bilateral shoulder surgeries. I was told I would need to request an updated one from the doctor at my appointment. Are you kidding? My appointment was to request an MRI, I waited over a month to go to a surgeon to request an MRI. I drove 4 hours to get a referral for an MRI that they know, the doctors know, and the world knows he will request. Then go another month and 1/2 getting approved & scheduling the MRI. 2 months between the 1st and 2nd visits. Mind you, Im struggling with daily tasks as simple as washing myself, eating, etc. Sooo I go back to the surgeon once again. He tells me the same thing he did from my primary doctors MRI and notes. So now its time to schedule the 1st surgery. The earliest is 2 months!!! I can bathe myself much less use my arms at all now I have to wait 2 more months, I just broke down crying. At this point, two more months would put me at almost 7-8 months from my original referral to a surgeon to surgery. Are you kidding me? Oh, but wait....about a month after leaving someone calls me to tell me hey Dr. Soppe is going on vacation, so now my date of referral to surgery wouldve taken almost a year, and nobody thinks this is unacceptable. I know because I asked the scheduler. This is just normal trash care, and with everyone who saw my chart or exam dates, nobody thought well gosh we really provide sh%t care. I asked to get a referral to another doctor within the clinic. I asked for basically any other option. All I was repeatedly told was Im not sure he does that. Who is seriously in charge of that dump of a hospital? I have truly amazing insurance! So obviously, this is just common practice to any and everyone. I ended up calling another surgeon elsewhere who was able to get me in asap after telling them the situation, and they requested my info from Dr. Soppe. Dr. Soppe youve been a doctor way to long. Your bedside manner is worse than any doctor Ive ever seen. Youre truly a disgrace to your profession.

5 /5 Brian Murphy: I have had 17 reconstructive surgeries at SMOG between 1983-2014 they have rebuilt my leg from a non-functioning limb into a LEG, so now I can do almost anything they are the best surgeons in L.A., but is the commitment to physical therapty that transformed me Not just the PT that is prescribed, but the extra-curricular workouts that I did on my own ive read some of these reviews. when you call hit the 0 on your phone. ask for the doctor who is looking after you. you may get voicemail, but every call has been returned within 24 hours. these people saved my life
