Simran Ahluwalia I’ve been going to Anh for almost 4 years now and I am always happy with the results. She takes the time to listen to my needs and always answers my questions. She always recommends the best for my hair and never pushes me to do what I don’t want to do. Whether I go for a balayage or just for a tone she always makes the process look so quick and easy and I always feel comfortable and relaxed in her salon. And she keeps my hair in good shape that will last me a long time. I always feel amazing walking out of the salon thanks to Anh. Diane My mom is a vibrant 90 plus woman. Always looking for an actual salon for her has been a challenge. But I did take her to this amazing salon in HB Old World. The stylist was professional, we showed examples of what she wanted and the stylist Tam delivered! I can’t tell you the joy that this brought about to my mom. The people at the Upstairs Salon are professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. She had a great time and I’ve already made her second appointment and will continue to bring her there. Elenista-Ann Amber has been my boyfriend’s hairdresser for a while now and always does a brilliant job. I finally booked an appointment with her, and she gave me exactly what I wanted with my reference photo. She is so talented and skilled. Cannot recommend her more! And the environment of the salon is just lovely!

Gatoff Melissa From the moment I stepped in the salon I felt comfortable and safe. Christina was professional and took her time to hear what my goal was and how we could achieve that look. From there I was totally relaxed in her chair, making sure I was comfortable and doing everything she could to ensure my experience was one of the best. She openly communicated each step in the process. I had gone blonde at home in Augest during shut down (don’t do it), so my hair was a big project. I’m so thankful for her for bringing me back to look like myself again. I can’t wait until my next appointment!

Ashley Page Always a great experience! I highly recommend my stylist Amanda Mergelmeyer. She is a detail oriented perfectionist intent on getting the look just right. Most recently she fit my girls (6 y/o and 3 y/o) and I in and made their day nailing their short haircut with bangs so they could both look like Penny from the movie Bolt. Thanks for a great experience and great hair cuts!

duyen tong I went to see Rachel! She had done my hair for a few years but I found someone closer so I left, but now I’m back! Haha she’s amazing! She’s very good with colors and cuts. She also cuts your bangs for free when you’re a client. She’s super sweet. The salon is pretty cute and clean. You’d think parking is hard because it’s right by the beach, but I’ve found parking pretty easily every time. I’ll update this post with pictures later.

Emmalee Mangubat Aivee is incredible. I love how collaborative she is with me when we try new hair styles, and also how she takes the lead when I need her to. She is incredibly skilled and has so much knowledge of color and hair texture. It truly is a science and I am in awe watching her work. I trust her completely and appreciate how she always ensures my comfortability. My self esteem has grown exponentially since I began visiting her at Golden Rose. Aivee also plays the best music in the salon!! The experience is worth every damn penny.
