5 /5 Brandon Sibley: 100% recommend! Moved my father to this area and he was in need of something minor after the 600m drive. We stopped in and they were polite, accurate, informative and in the end they didnt charge us for the issue. I had to leave early to get back to Colorado but they took care of my dad and offered a pickup/drop-off service. I wish these guys were in Colorado but Im glad they are there for my dad. I wouldnt go anywhere else if I have a choice.

5 /5 Jonathan Gentzel: Did some shopping around and was quoted $145 just for a diagnosis and was not greeted kindly, Over here at Shift N Gears not only was the customer service great at least with Kevin he did amazing but for 100 bucks they did a full inspection of my car and showed proof of the maintenance that my almost 200k vehicle needs but only was a suggestion they don’t bother you at all about the other things you need done they will address it but not force anything. Crappy part was my car was in the shop for 24 hours but no more then that and it was worth the 100 bucks to get what I needed looked at and more.

5 /5 Toumi Stephen: There are some very reputable auto repair shops in Paso. Prior to dropping off our 1952 Studebaker, I didnt know about Shiftn Gears. I had contacted another repair show, who did work restoration work on classic cars, but we never were able to reconnect with him, which led us to Kevin at Shiftn Gears. While the Stude was the first car we took in, I recently dropped off my 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 that had a power steering, transmission and wiper pump problem. $300 later, I received a report online from Kevin as to what needed to be done on the truck to make it drivable. As expected, there were other problems noted that should be addressed, providing a price for the work to be accomplished and the option to accept or decline the work. I put down my 20% deposit and the work on the truck was started. It took about three days, mainly waiting for parts to arrive but the work was done professional and the truck ran excellent when we got it back. The work on the Studebaker was much more extensive to get it drivable and safe to move on the road. That said, there is about another $7000 to start making a dent in the front end rebuild to truly make this vehicle safe for the road. We have been very pleased with the professionalism, service and communication we have had with Shiftn Gears and will be doing more business with them in the future. Thanks for the work!

We own a 1978 Westfalia and while we were passing through Paso Robles on our way to Napa managed to run over a small stick which popped up perfectly to puncture our oil cooler! Called Kevin the next morning and within a couple of days had the new oil cooler installed beautifully and were on our way and back in business!Great job guys! Thank you again!
