Bryan Miller Took my old Toyota in cause the check engine light kept coming on and it was running rough. I’m not too car-smart but they explained everything in simple terms and didn’t try to scare me with a huge list of problems like some other shops I’ve been to. They figured out it was just a bad sensor and got it replaced the same day. Honest pricing, no pressure, and the car’s been running smooth ever since. I liked that they didn’t make me feel dumb for asking questions. Only thing is the waiting area could use a bit of cleaning but that’s not a big deal. At least they got the job done right and quick. It’s hard finding good trustworthy mechanics nowdays, so I’m glad I found these guys. Will def bring my car back if I need more work.

Jimmy Noddz Finally, a repair place that truly cares about doing quality work, with pride and a smile. Jose is the best, truly a gentleman. He explains everything in detail and the cost, the ramifications if the repairs are not done. And the time you probably have before the problem gets bigger, and that’s important to a lot of us with a tight budget. I would recommend Jarvis to any and all my family and friends. Melissa Hocanson I have a 1966 mustang that needed lots of work. It’s my daily driver now. It has been extremely challenging finding a mechanic that first would work on the car and second do a good job. Robert at John’s automotive was my first point of contact and he has been extremely professional, organized and detailed. I came in and explained what I needed and he scheduled a time that I could bring the car in - it wasn’t right away but I appreciated that he didn’t take the car until they were able to work on it. After I dropped off the car they sent me an email with photos and a checklist of things that were good and things that need work. I was very impressed I have been to a lot of mechanics and I have never received a report that detailed. Mike is the mechanic who has worked on my car and has explained in detail what was wrong, what he’s done and what I should expect. It’s challenging working on these old cars but Mike has the experience and expertise needed to get the job done. I love my car and I’m extremely grateful that I found John’s automotive otherwise I don’t think I’d be driving my car. I highly recommend this company. Robert and Mike are the best !!!

Marcus Menchago Great experience! Spoke with Mr Frey and he was completely honest with everything giving nothing but straight answers. Helped with exactly what I needed and nothing more. From the time I dropped my vehicle off to when I picked up was communicating with the shop the entire time. Also the turn around time was amazing. Expecting to not have a vehicle for almost a week he had it done within a day. Would go back and recommend this shop.

Leah Siobhan Couldn’t recommend a mechanic more than this place! Moved down from LA and saw this place had great reviews and needed a few items done to my car. They were able to get my car in super fast and have the work completed in about 2 hours. Their pricing was great but most importantly their customer service made me feel like my concerns about my car were listened to and they didnt try to add on any unnecessary work. Having a mechanic that makes me feel like I’m not getting ripped off and my concerns are heard will be making me go back here for as long as I’m on SD!
