2 /5 Emma: I had an appointment today at 1:30. I arrived at 1:25 and waited inside for a few minutes before being checked in, after being checked in I was instructed to have a seat. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked the woman at the desk if she had an estimated amount of time before I’d be seen and she said she would go check, when she came back she said “no more then 5 minutes”. At the 5 minute mark another woman called me back and directed me to a room saying we were still waiting but she would ask me the check in questions. After about 2 minutes the questions were over and the woman left, this was at 2:03pm. I sat and waited in the new room alone for an additional 35 minutes or so without anyone coming in to update me on time frame before deciding to leave at 2:40pm, an hour and ten minutes after my appointment time. I had only asked how long it would be until I was seen and instead of receiving an answer I was tucked away with no updates for 35 minutes(time stamps from frustrated texts I was sending to my friend). Super disappointing. The lack of communication was deeply frustrating. I did not expect to be seen sooner then they were ready to see me but would have appreciated being told an actual time frame rather then being left alone in a random room for over 35 minutes when all I had asked for was an update on how much longer it would be. I just don’t see the point in misleading me on how long it would be. I had made an appointment and didn’t expect the wait to be over an hour which I would have understood more if I were a walk in.
I copied this from my yelp review but this was such a frustrating experience I felt it needed to be shared. I’ve been to this same establishment 2 times prior with no issue and all the staff has been lovely but todays interaction left me questioning if I would even like to make the updated appointment I originally said I would.
