Just_Materials Hey! Recommend: Sarah! Go to her! She does textured curly hair and transforms it into nice styles. I got a blowout, with wash and detangle yesterday. Only took about 2.5 hours. She was very hands on and down to earth.

Tatiana Froehlich I had an amazing first experience here! I have type 3 curls, and it was my first time getting a haircut from a curly hair specialist. Madison is the stylist who I was assigned to, and she did a phenomenal job handling all my questions, teaching me all about curls, and about how to care for and style them. She also listened to my vision extremely well, while recommending certain shifts based on her knowledge & experience of curl type and face shape etc. I feel that she executed on the vision we agreed on extremely well, and also trimmed a little extra after styling after I asked for a tweak. The overall salon feel was very positive overall as well. Good vibes from everyone I interacted with. Highly recommend. It felt very worth the price!

Ashy B Such a nice experience. They were efficient and very sweet. The bottom floor is like a store but also has comfy seating to wait in while the upper floor is bright and open for when you have your appointment! It wasn’t too loud or noisy and it was aesthetically pleasing! Pricing was decent for a Venice hair salon and everyone was friendly!

Marc Israel I walked into this zoo for humans in need of haircuts, having never been there before. I was greeted very warmly by Toni, a barbress, who was cutting the hair of a female of some advanced age. Meanwhile I was offered a beverage by another employee during my wait - believe it or not I was given a cold bottle of Rolling Rock. Nice. After not too long, Toni was ready for me. She couldn’t have been more friendly, - “a doll” as a previous reviewer put it - and was very curious wanting to know exactly how I’d like to get my hairs cut, wanting to please and help her customer. This was lucky for me as I am very PARTICULAR and have/had very unruly, thick, long hair and wanted a certain kind of layered look for which I came prepared with pics and a big pile of adjectives. Toni drank in all the info, and UNDERSTOOD it where so many barbers in the past have not, and, well, long story short, she gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in many moons. Price for a man’s haircut? $38. Might not be the very cheapest, but for this area of LA, it just might be! I highly recommend this place!

Myra Horwitz Maggie is fabulous! Her color sense really wonderful. I’m a natural red head I have some grey and she ha been able to match my color beautifully. Love coming to her little salon. She is friendly and has a lovely way about her. I highly recommend for color and cuts!

D B I have been going to Ana since 2014. She is patient and listens to what you want. She is reliable. She is the best colorist Ive been to. She is good with curly or straight hair. She does not do the brazilian treatment. If you need a great color and cut she is the one to call. No problems ever.
