Nailed it nail spa salon - Los Angeles (CA)

2 /5 Lindsey Sandoval: This was my 3rd/4th time going and I’m bummed out yet again. I believe in numerous chances which is why I’ve gone back a few time. I’m a college student so getting my nails done is a treat & something I do every so often as self-care. But I feel like this salon is not properly equipped to be doing gel. Every time I’ve gone, my nails have chipped within days. I called once and asked if they’d fix it because it was within 24 hours and the lady on the phone was not kind nor willingly to help. But I still went back.. this time I had a kind lady who was accommodating to the fact that I had a deep paper cut on a finger and was careful with it. I really appreciated her being so careful but she did over cut my cuticles and cause numerous of my nails to bleed and be sensitive for days after. Within a day of getting my nails done I noticed lumps as if the gel wasnt cured properly and the chipping began. Within a week, 4 nails have chipped or lifted. In the past, typically its the entire polish but this is just one layer on each nail which makes me believe that they were not properly done. Ive gotten gel manicures that have lasted 6 weeks at other salons and nothing like this has ever happened. Everytime I come, I have a different issue with my nails and I truly believe in a second chance so thought it was maybe me or an "off" day when I get them done. Im so disappointed because people use to speak so highly of this salon but with the combination of the constant lifting and the rude employee, I would suggest other places. I gave them a few chances but it seems like they are not properly applying gel or Gelx:(

3 /5 Marcela Tenorio: The place itself was beautiful and the wonderful ladies there took such great care of me while I was in there. They were attentive and kind however the nail that I requested (French tip) did not come out the way the reference picture was. I understood upon request it wasnt going to be 100% but the final product was like 40% similar to the picture. The young girl that did my nails(name redacted) was great at cleaning the nail(loved it) however she did lack more experience and a steady hand(crooked paint). She was amazing at cleaning though and she was beyond sweet. I was charged $75 for a short French nail gel manicure which was suppose to be $65($45+$20 French tip add on) personally I could have stayed at my original spot where I was charged $40 for a French tip but I decided to switch things up. I honestly really hope they do better in the future.

5 /5 Kate Trammell: Was in the area for a trip. I got a basic mani and pedi. The salon is gorgeous and the technicians did a fantastic job. Everyone was super friendly too! Would gladly go back if I was in the area again.
