Vaneka Cross Amy was great she gave me exactly what I asked for and even exposed me to the gel x process. As a chronic acrylic babe this was so much better!
1 /5 amanda: i got a hard gel manicure this evening from Summer. When she asked if i wanted to go shorter, i said yes to match my other 2 nails that broke to make it more even. she said i should do an extension on the 2 broken nails and i agreed. while i was watching her size my 2 nails, she told me i needed to relax and to stop looking at my nails. i felt pretty calm, so I was confused why she kept telling me to calm down. she told me my nails would feel warm when putting them in the uv light. i have a high pain tolerance, so I didn’t expect it to hurt so bad. i pulled them out and said it hurt and she scoffed and said to just leave those 2 nails out for a bit. i felt uncomfortable because I felt calm until she told me to relax a few times. i was charged $70 and the 2 nails extensions don’t match the shape and length of my other nails, so I don’t know why we didn’t just keep the natural nail. i normally enjoy my experience there, but this experience makes me not want to come back
