1 /5 Shery Salama: I hired Audel Estrada as a mobile mechanic for a simple oil change, and it turned into a nightmare. Instead of doing the job correctly, he broke my splash pan and oil pan, then tried to cover it up with zip ties without saying anything. I only found out when the splash pan folded in half under my car while I was driving, which could have caused serious damage or an accident. On top of that, he charged me $80—double what I usually pay. I figured the extra cost was for the convenience of him coming to my house, but in the end, it cost me over $1,000 in repairs to fix his mistakes. If you value your car, your money, and your safety, stay far away from this mechanic.
