5 /5 Peter Parker: Mariners Irvine hosted Dadfest in honor of Fathers Day. Such a wonderful event and sense of community and purpose. Great food, music, and fun, too. The church spreads across a park-like campus. A little disorienting at first for newcomers. Still, the staff and volunteers gave warm welcomes. Returned for worship. Fantastic experience. Appreciated the message, in particular, and how Pastor Eric explained Romans 28:8 in a way never shared before and connected it to the series being taught on Genesis. Brilliant! Two bonuses: a terrific bookstore and cafe. (Get the chorizo and egg burrito.)

5 /5 Vanessa C: This has become our home base. My husband and I got baptized here recently and have joined one of the Rooted groups. We have enjoyed Pastor Eric Geiger’s services and had an enjoyable, meaningful experience every time we have come to church. The atmosphere is beautiful, the culture here is welcoming and not pushy, and the people who attend are kind and friendly. They have service available online and there is an app with all the information as well. They have an incredible kids building and do so much for families with special needs and children. There is always something going on-in a great way. They really get involved in the community too. We’re blessed to have Mariners in our life and everyone we bring here really enjoys it too! I’m so grateful we found Mariners. If you’re looking for a church, I highly recommend Mariners.

The energy, the warmth, and the presence of God were palpable throughout the entire experience. The church grounds are beautiful and so inviting, creating the perfect setting to connect with the community and feel at peace. The Christmas show and sermon were nothing short of amazing—well thought out, deeply inspiring, and filled with the spirit of the season. The message truly resonated with us and left a lasting impression. There’s something so special about Mariners Church. It’s a place where you can feel God’s love and the strong sense of unity among everyone there. We absolutely adore this church and look forward to attending every time we’re in California. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and uplifting worship experience!

5 /5 NICK MENNELL: I recently visited Mariners Church on Newport Coast Drive in Irvine and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. Coming directly from a Catholic mass elsewhere, the contrast in energy and vitality was immediately apparent and refreshing. From the moment you arrive, the grounds make a striking first impression. The beautiful, well-maintained campus creates an inviting atmosphere that feels both serene and vibrant. The architectural design and landscaping are thoughtfully executed, creating a space that feels both grand and welcoming. While I found the sermon itself somewhat lackluster compared to the other elements, it was the people and the overall vibe that truly made this place shine. The congregation was exceptionally friendly and welcoming to newcomers. Theres a palpable sense of community and genuine connection among attendees thats hard to miss. The worship music was uplifting and contemporary, adding significantly to the energetic atmosphere that permeates the entire service. The childrens program also appeared well-organized, which would be a plus for families. What makes Mariners Church stand out is the vibrant, alive feeling that runs through everything they do. That energy creates an environment where you feel both spiritually nourished and socially connected. I would definitely return to Mariners Church. If youre looking for a contemporary worship experience with a strong sense of community in an impressive setting, this church deserves your consideration, even if the sermon wasnt the highlight of my visit.

1 /5 Roxy: The "pastors" hired to work here are cold-hearted. There is no sense of welcoming for the members who are new to this church. Be careful who you trust at this church, the people who work here will back-stab you and retaliate if they get upset at you. The childrens pastor and the "special needs" pastor both are untrustworthy. I wouldnt check my child into the childrens center here if it was the last Sunday School around. I truly recommend to anyone who is looking for a warm. welcoming, trustworthy and KIND church, go somewhere else. Find s small church where people will notice and care if you dont show up. Find a church where you know you will be accepted, loved, and honored. Mariners church is not that type of church. Its a cold, unforgiving, retaliatory, back-stabbing, judgmental, critical, rude church. The Bible verse Matthew 13:16 states, "But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear." Matthew 13:16 This verse emphasizes the importance of understanding and perceiving spiritual truths. Open your eyes - many people are being led by the blind. The blind is leading the blind at this church. Please pray for discernment regarding this church and The Lord will show you.
