2 /5 Tessa M.: I used to love this salon. Amber and Treela (not quite sure how to spell her name) have always cut my hair so amazing. Yesterday I went and had Jade cut my hair. She was nice and I liked her vibe. But I left the salon with a bob cut that I didn’t even ask for. I asked for a cut with layers, and to shape up my curtain bangs. I went from having hair that was to my breasts, to hair that’s now ABOVE MY SHOULDERS??? I only asked for a few inches off. I showed her the reference picture (which was literally of ME with the exact haircut I wanted), but told her that if it was necessary that I’d be willing to take off a tiny bit more if it would be better for my hair. The hair in the photo I showed came past my collarbones by a good 3-4 inches. So when I said we could take off a little more I assumed like another inch or two would be removed. Not almost 4 1/2 inches of hair loss that resulted in a bob that makes me look like Lord Farquad. Anyways, I just called asking for a refund (I paid $45 and no tip because I wasn’t happy with my hair. Mind you after they raised the price on me that they quoted me for over the phone). I was polite while leaving yesterday, I tried to be positive about my hair and not be rude even though I truly disliked how short it is. But because I wasn’t “upset” or making much of a fuss yesterday evening, I cannot have a refund.
