Artie Wu Tom is an absolute master of his craft! As a man with long hair, it can be tough to find a stylist who truly understands how to cut and shape it properly—but Tom exceeded all my expectations. He was patient, incredibly skilled, and had a deep understanding of how to work with long hair to make it look its absolute best. From the moment I sat in his chair, I knew I was in expert hands. He took the time to listen, made thoughtful recommendations, and executed with precision and artistry. The result? A haircut that not only feels incredible but also is effortlessly natural and easy to maintain. Beyond his technical expertise, Tom is kind, professional, and genuinely cares about making sure his clients leave feeling amazing. Tammy Herndon Head & Soul is a gem! So happy I finally made it over to this awesome salon to get my hair did!! Seana is the bomb! She’s an expert at color. I have the color I’ve been wanting for so long now. Walked out of there feeling like a new person. I live in Marin and it’s more than worthwhile to go to the city to get my hair done at Head & Soul! I also get my eyelash extensions with Adela at H&S! Love this place ❤️

Kona Yee Maisonry is one of THE BEST salons in San Francisco and I’ve tried a lot!! All the stylists are so sweet, they listen to what you want, and they are sooo knowledgeable about hair health. One of the main reasons I switched salons and decided to come here was because I wanted my hair to get healthy and Charlene did the most amazing job making that my priority. My hair is the healthiest it’s ever been and I can’t recommend Charlene enough. She can do it all but I don’t think I’ve met anyone else that can do a liver in brunette better!! I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a super cute, quality, hair color.

Sioban Dixon Color & Keratin- Emma did an excellent job coloring my roots today and perfectly matched my previous color! Cashmier then gave me a fantastic Keratin Treatment. Both stylists were very warm, polite, and professional. My hair turned out great!

Kate Mercado Kat was great! I had henna damage to repair and some roots to cover and she blended everything seamlessly. I love it! My color is “ash 8”

Lu Han I’ve been Sho’s client since 2017. It’s always been great to visit! Sho is talented for haircut, and he’s endless care for details is uniquely shining. Not only he could always meet my expectations right after the haircut, my hair still looks great after several weeks with great style. It’s the last 1% of the details provide his outstanding technique!

Kenny Nieh Lisette is a phenomenal, inclusive, and talented hair stylist and color expert. Ive been going to her since 2018 and each cut, styling, and color Ive experienced with her has been transformative, affirming, and fun. Shes really good at listening to your feedback as well as exchanging ideas for where you can take your hair. Ive learned so much about my hair through her care and see so many possibilities for where I can take my hair journey with her. I highly recommend you check out Lisette for your hair cut and/or hair coloring. Shes the one.

Niall Sohan This goes out to Dani — I’ve been coming to Dani for years for my cut and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She’s super versatile, gives the best men’s haircut, and her wash / head massage is heavenly.

Robin Meyerhoff David Dieguez is simply the BEST! Since I started doing to him, Ive received so many compliments on my hair! David always manages to make me feel chic and does something slightly new each time, so I dont feel like Im getting the same old cut. Hes worked a lot in the fashion industry and has a great sense of what works for my (wavy and gray) hair and face.

Erik Cheng Wilson did a great job with my hair (in my opinion)! I hadnt gotten a haircut in a year and also really dont take good care of it, so it was a total frizzy mess when I went in. I also didnt really know how to specify what I wanted for my haircut, since Ive never had hair this long or this curly/wavy before. He was able to take my relatively vague input on what I was looking for and did a great job producing a cut I was very pleased with. Well worth the price for his skill and also the included hair washing.
