Polly Sapakie I discovered Arrow Salon and Grace during a very challenging time, just after my father unexpectedly passed away. In desperate need of a haircut before the funeral, I walked in feeling overwhelmed. Grace was incredibly kind and compassionate; I even found myself crying as I shared my story with her. Her warmth and understanding made a difficult moment just a little brighter. And the haircut! Grace is truly a master of her craft. At the funeral, three different people approached me to compliment my hair--testament to her extraordinary skill! Recently, she also worked her magic on my daughter, giving her a fun blue streak. Grace was so patient and understanding, making the experience enjoyable for her, especially as a tween. (Grace is GREAT with tweens!) I feel so lucky to have found Grace and Arrow Salon. Theyre not just a place for hair; theyre part of the community. :)

Neha Murad I recently had a fantastic experience with Felipe at the salon, receiving the DNA hair smoothing treatment. This formaldehyde-free treatment left me impressed. Felipe was patient and reassuring throughout the process, and I appreciate his professionalism and efficiency.

Hannah Fusco Love this place!! I’m so happy I stopped by last year to get a hair cut on a whim! My partner & I have been customer’s for over a year now, and Chrystal is the BEST! This photo is of the haircut. Color was done earlier, but the CUT!!!!! Chrystal always does such an amazing job with my really complicated, thick curly hair. I love the energy and the environment here, super chill, clean and friendly. They’ll having you look like your best self in no time!

Alison Lucille Art This was my first time coming to Habitat. Audrey what’s my hairstylist. She was amazing. She would explain her process to make sure I understood what and why she was doing certain things. We had a fun time talking about art and scary movies. What I appreciate the most is how Audrey reached out to me about my after care for my hair and what product I can use to preserve my vivid color and keep my hair healthy. Thank you Audrey! Stephanie I’ve been getting my brows done by Claudia Booker for over 16 years, and she is simply the best. She’s a true expert in her field with an eye for aesthetics that can’t be taught—it’s just something you’re born with. Every time I leave her chair, my brows look perfect, and I always get compliments. They frame my face beautifully and make me look and feel put together. Over the years, I’ve moved around and could never find anyone nearly as skilled, so I eventually stopped getting my brows done altogether—just lightly trimming and tweezing on my own instead. Mona Tawakali Cirrus is an incredibly gifted at what she does, yet what truly stands out to me is her integrity. During our appointment, upon seeing the condition of my hair firsthand, she advised against proceeding with highlights until my hair regained its health. She even dusted my split ends while I was there and refused to let me pay her. I deeply appreciate individuals like Cirrus, who prioritize long-term relationships over short-term benefits. I eagerly anticipate embarking on my hair journey with her in the future.

Chiachi Liu -Wolf cut Haircut with Stylist Cesar- I had a pleasant first experience at this salon! I was referred by a friend to try this place out. The stylist I requested was Cesar. He was really nice and made sure what I wanted was clear. We discussed about how the new haircut will behave and suite my face, along with general styling tips. We had insightful conversations and had a good synergy. He was efficient with the shears and checked with me occasionally to stay on the same page with the vision I had. I have fine, straight hair. Prior to this, my hair was long with moderate amount of layers. The haircut I requested was a medium/short wolf cut. Despite the big change, it turned out well! Some people might be hesitant on getting this kind of haircut, but it is important to acknowledge your hair type and discuss with your stylist. Do consider how much styling you are willing to do. The wolf cut style is a fun hairstyle that is best styled often. I still experiment with different ways to style this hair.

Ethan Mancil Hector did a great job helping me tame my quarantine hair lol. I was very apprehensive to cut it all off, and I know my hair is quite curly and difficult to cut. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted either. Hector worked his magic and I was definitely not disappointed - A+

Alina Bergelson Principle Salon provides incredible services, with talented and professional colorists/stylists, and a warm, elevated salon experience. I had the pleasure of having Alx, the salon owner, work on my hair. She is truly a gem, and considers all aspects of your unique hair texture/style before she begins. She starts her session with a full consultation of how she will tackle this hair experience with you, mastering the art of communicating what you want vs. need, and what your hair can handle. I have very fine hair so it was nice to hear her incorporating hair breakage concerns in her consultation, while balancing that with your desired end result. The products they use are top-notch and focus on low toxicity, which was an important factor for me when selecting the right salon. I will definitely be back at Princple Salon!
