Gear Connection
Jer Bear I am very thankful this place was able to work me in so quickly and during a holiday week. I needed new bearings in the differential and axles as well as seals. It was more costly than I had hoped, but they got the job done rather quickly. After I picked up the car and had it for a few days it started making a bad noise again and I took it back and one of the wheel bearings was going out. Thankfully I had a spare and they installed it without charging me... Hard to find service like that these days. Thank you!

Donald Buckley This guy does great work, super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The best shop in town in my opinion. We have went to Blake’s Automotive Performance since moving to Redding in 1991 and have always been more than satisfied with both the work done and the price he has charged. Carys Redding Tire & Auto Repair
Max Power I searched all of Redding trying to find a shop that would align an autocross & hpde daily MINI with camber plates. All of the big box stores wouldnt touch the plates. I found 3 local shops. One was booked months out, the other does such a high volume of referral alignments, my car was rushed out, and not at the final spec I wanted. (But within range). Carys does a great job. My current car doesnt have camber plates, so I *could* go to a big box store, but Im more than happy to leave my car with someone thatll take the time to do it right.

Tarasadies So we had been conned by another auto repair shop (now out of business), which led to us trying Automotive Plus. And we are so glad we did. Dave and his crew do good work and, despite always being busy, always are informative and personable. Good people. I think their many 5 star reviews speak volumes.

Kevin Keyser Was on the way to Grass Valley from Portland when I heard a loud pop and lost quite a bit of power in my engine. I was worried, it being a Saturday, that we would end up being stuck in Redding for a few days until the right parts and people were available. Chuy had my problems diagnosed and fixed in about an hour and a half. He also took the time to explain how and why things went wrong and what to look out for. No BS, just great customer service and quality work. As someone who was born and raised on the east coast I appreciated Chuys honesty and straightforward approach. No beating around the bush or up-selling here. If your car needs work in Redding, THIS IS THE SPOT!! Thank you again, Chuy!

Tamarina Fogg Awesome customer service. Answer the question I needed even after I left and had to call back. They were professional and the waiting area where you wait is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and well trained as they show you what’s going with your car in detail with things that need to be fix with detail sheets and photos. It helped me see my car in ways I wouldn’t think of like my ac filter as now my ac smell awesome!! Thank you for showing us the small details and major ones as well. It helps with setting up a cost when it’s time for the big ones! Cheers!

Sals Automotive Repair And Hot Rod Hideout
Bobby Graham Sal was absolutely amazing. I let a friend of mine work on my car and they messed it up pretty badly. After letting it sit for nine months I brought my car in to Sal with just a box of bolts, and only knew I needed a new alternator for it. He took the time to be comprehensive, and you could absolutely tell he knew what he was doing. He was very patient and explained what was going on every step of the way. Furthermore he is a genuinely nice and honest fellow who loves helping people. It ended up being a bit more work than I had expected, but he figured out why the car wouldnt start and I was on the road the next day. I cannot stress enough that this man is a very very good mechanic, and a good person in general. I will definitely be bringing my car to him for any service from now on.
