A D Been waiting a long time to find a shop that is experienced with classics. I was referred to R&R for a total rewire on my 57 Chevy truck. Im extremely pleased with the job and no longer embarrassed by the giant bee hive of 67 year old wiring. They did so well I had my transmission, rear diff and power steering pump serviced as well. My truck was also a victim of vapor lock, I just never felt confident driving around. Ive owned the 57 for 11 years, bought from my father and the problem has always been there. So I had Rick take a shot at fixing it. He did! Truck has never ran better. Ill be using R&R for my 57 from now on!

Andrew I am so glad that I was referred to Stephen. He is the most honest mechanic I have ever worked with. In the past mechanics have charged me for extra labor or parts that were not needed and he did not do this with me. His communication is awesome and he is very trustworthy. My truck is running great and I am definitely going back for any other problems I have!

Alyssa Manprin So easy to make an oil change appointment online. Friendly staff, cozy lobby. Competitively priced. Loved the inspection report being sent to my phone, and everything explained thoroughly. Service was 10/10.

Bobby Graham Sal was absolutely amazing. I let a friend of mine work on my car and they messed it up pretty badly. After letting it sit for nine months I brought my car in to Sal with just a box of bolts, and only knew I needed a new alternator for it. He took the time to be comprehensive, and you could absolutely tell he knew what he was doing. He was very patient and explained what was going on every step of the way. Furthermore he is a genuinely nice and honest fellow who loves helping people. It ended up being a bit more work than I had expected, but he figured out why the car wouldnt start and I was on the road the next day. I cannot stress enough that this man is a very very good mechanic, and a good person in general. I will definitely be bringing my car to him for any service from now on.

Clappy Sassy I wont go to any other mechanic ever again if i can help it. I am extatic with the work done. Great work, great price, great folks. I have never felt more confident that my car was in the best of hands, and I have mechanics in my family. Truly a rare find, a mechanic you can trust.

Max Power I searched all of Redding trying to find a shop that would align an autocross & hpde daily MINI with camber plates. All of the big box stores wouldnt touch the plates. I found 3 local shops. One was booked months out, the other does such a high volume of referral alignments, my car was rushed out, and not at the final spec I wanted. (But within range). Carys does a great job. My current car doesnt have camber plates, so I *could* go to a big box store, but Im more than happy to leave my car with someone thatll take the time to do it right.

Matthew Hval I had a faulty spark plug when driving through Redding and while Nickerson automotive was booked through the weekend, he still made time to recommend other good mechanics in town who could quickly fix my problem and help me get on my way safely. Says a lot about how well someone treats their customers when they have nothing to gain. This guy is one of the good ones.

Boris Weber Great place with great people. Came without an appointment for an oil change and they could squeeze me in. I felt it was done professionally and at a really fair price. Will come again if Im ever back in the area, but will make an appointment then.
