Elliott Averett I would probably feel like I needed confession if I rated a Catholic Church less than five stars; the primary purpose of this review is to highlight some things that I know people care about when looking for a Mass or a parish.
- This church is part of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, not the Diocese of Orange. The Ordinariate was set up for Anglican converts, and answers directly to the Pope. It is a legit Catholic Church authorized to use an Anglican-style liturgy. The priest is an Anglican convert.
- The priest here faces the altar during the Mass and communion is received kneeling and on the tongue. The Mass is not in Latin, but parts of it are different if you are used to a regular Roman mass.
- This church is inside a larger building, a law firm that has a Catholic chapel attached. This sounds weird, but it is very nice inside.
