I have blond hair that darkened and grayed with age and it requires great skills to make it look lighter and natural. After loosing my trusted hair dresser of many years due to the pandemic, I had several new stylists attempting to and failing to achieve this look , thus making me quite unhappy. Arthur had performed magic and brought my hair back to my youthful natural color. He used appropriate highlights with the right shade of toner and created my new personal "California Blond" look. Since my first visit, I haven’t gone to anyone else. Danny truly has the best hands when it comes to hair. He always starts by checking in with me to understand the style I’m looking for, ensuring that I get exactly what I want. Not to me mention the hair washing experience is incredibly relaxing and soothing. He has the softest hands, which I really appreciate because I have frizzy hair. After each visit , I receive so many head turns, making me feel like a whole new person. Now that he’s at Blake Charles Salon it makes for the ultimate experience. Blake Charles has a self check-in which I think provides a seamless experience especially if the front desk team is busy . Their cheerful and friendly attitude makes it such a new breath of fresh air environment, I love it! The waiting area is comfortable, with nice refreshments available while you wait. I love that we can hang our coats and change into a comfortable robe. Best changing area with big full body mirrors with lots of bright lights for selfies. Let me not forget , how the natural lighting in the salon just makes it so much more inviting and bright just like the energy there . Overall, Danny Medina and Blake Charles Salon provide an exceptional experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch haircut and salon experience.

Alina Bergelson Principle Salon provides incredible services, with talented and professional colorists/stylists, and a warm, elevated salon experience. I had the pleasure of having Alx, the salon owner, work on my hair. She is truly a gem, and considers all aspects of your unique hair texture/style before she begins. She starts her session with a full consultation of how she will tackle this hair experience with you, mastering the art of communicating what you want vs. need, and what your hair can handle. I have very fine hair so it was nice to hear her incorporating hair breakage concerns in her consultation, while balancing that with your desired end result. The products they use are top-notch and focus on low toxicity, which was an important factor for me when selecting the right salon. I will definitely be back at Princple Salon!

Stephanie I’ve been getting my brows done by Claudia Booker for over 16 years, and she is simply the best. She’s a true expert in her field with an eye for aesthetics that can’t be taught—it’s just something you’re born with. Brett Houser Beautiful salon on Nob Hill complete with 17 rooms, all individually glassed off with private ventilation and AC for every room. A sight to see. Very classy.
