Ned OConnor 5 stars are unusual on my reviews.. I have high standards. Clean pleasant waiting room comfortable chairs to sit in .Clean restroom in sitting area reasonable smog rates .I called and got an immediate appointment. 5 minutes after arriving my truck was in the shop.

Gustavo Flores Let me begin with Lisa. She’s absolutely wonderful! I love her honesty, sense of humor and great detail about my vehicle. She really cares, more than I could ever say about every mechanic I’ve dealt with in my life. They fix what you ask to get fixed. No “well this, well that”. She will suggest but not push the issue and I love that. The pricing is flat out fair compared to other shops. Honesty and integrity is the vibe of this place. Best of all? I went to get my breaks fixed/replaced and wow. My breaks feel AMAZING! Incredible job! I’ve always heard great things about this shop and it’s true, they are the best and I will NEVER go to any other auto shop for as long as I live. They are wonderful from start to finish. Honest and good craftsmanship and wonderful customer service is what really sold me. Thank you!

Chuck Goettsche Ive never written a single review before. I guess it takes a lot to impress me. Well, I got to say I am very, very impressed with Magallanes Auto Repair. I needed to replace the engine on my 1997 Toyota T-100 Pickup truck. This was a big decision for me, to invest so much in a 28-year-old truck, but if you know trucks, you know this is a special truck. Having lived in California for 50 years, I discussed this repair with two of my former favorite mechanics, and on the basis of a recommendation from AAA, I talked to Magallanes. The shop manager and the front office staff treated me with respect and extreme patience as I had many, many questions about the scope of this project. My confidence in their competence grew as I learned they had been in business for decades and I appreciated that most of the workers were mature (like me) and for example I was told the mechanic who would be working on my truck had been doing this work for 40 years. Well, after much careful thought, they got the job. I can honestly say it was one of the better decisions Ive made in my life. Throughout the project, the front office kept me informed at each step of the way. As long as I was replacing the engine, I wanted to make everything right with the truck so I added service items and new front brakes. When the work was complete and I went to pick up my truck, I was delighted to learn the work came in $200 under the estimate. Not only was the work done on budget in a timely fashion, but they did extra work. It was the little things...the handbrake was adjusted, a tail light was replaced, a future likely problem with the mechanical linkage of the clutch pedal was repaired - everything was improved while my truck was in their care. If youve read this far, youre youre getting the idea that I love my truck, and I do, but I also love the people at Magallanes. Whether its routine service or a major repair I strongly recommend that you go talk to these people. Talk to Adriana or Juana in the front office, talk to Alberto the shop manager and Im sure you will come away with the feeling of confidence and trust that made me choose them for my big repair. Saseen Najjar Eddie is the man!! Check engine light came on while driving home and they took me in super last minute. They were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything to me even after the shop had closed, and even though I hadn’t paid for service! Sending this shop a lot of love. Give them your business!

MC Chen Lincoln is a top notch honest mechanic and they are definitely cheaper than any dealers would charge you.

Adrian MtZ Ive known him for years, hes done great work on my cars. Look forward to taking them again for maintenance such as replacing the timing chain.

Jesse Mills I had a grinding noise in the front end. Turned out it was the wheel bearing. They replaced it and checked everything else before leaving. Happy with the service.

Estefania Hernandez Highly recommend! My hybrid car wouldnt turn on in the AM and was looking for a reliable mechanic that could help address. They promptly answered the phone and were able to see & service my car that afternoon to properly diagnose the issue. They identified the issue and addressed it by end of day! Also, loved their customer service and honest pricing as well. Will definitely be coming back!
