5 /5 Neal Donovan: Beautiful building right near the lake. Ive seen a handful of shows here and love the sanctuary. Gorgeous stained glass, great acoustic, impressive organ. Staff are super welcoming.
5 /5 Derek Sup: The Free Key Choir has had many concerts at First Congregational Church of Oakland and we keep coming back because we love it so much. The staff (Ronnie, Brian, Philip, and Neal) are all so accommodating, the space is beautiful and such a terrific venue for music, and its nestled right in the heart of Oakland. Highly recommend hosting your event here, or renting the space for whatever other purpose!
5 /5 Chitra Chandran: We have hosted various capoeira events, most notably our Bay Area Vadiando event that draws members of the capoeira community from the Bay Area, LA and beyond. Its always been a space that has felt like home for these events and we are so happy to be able to be there again. The communication is clear and friendly, the assistance before and during the events is perfect and we always have a wonderful time. Thanks so much to Ronnie and the whole crew for welcoming our community!

From hearing talk about each other, cruelly.

M G St Elizabeth Parish has so many services on Sundays it’s awesome if you can’t make it so early you can go later to the next. They offer services in both English and Spanish. Me and my family love coming to mass here
Linda Jordan-Clark This is my place of worship Methodist. I love it. They give out food, produce sometimes chicken or fish which is frozen every Wednesday from 10 am until 12 and the last Friday of every month they give out meats.

Michelle Corsilles Great music, lovely folks, good preaching, very real life. Excellent childrens programming. A nice find for working with and worshipping with people who care about the community they live in. The lakeshore location and beautiful sanctuary with historic and gorgeous mosaic tryptich is a real bonus.
Tim Hohm Talk about authenticity! Sequoyah is truly community. Dynamic music with a live band was so good. The people are so friendly and the message was relevant, practical, and inspiring. I also LOVE the multi-cultural and multi-generational feel. It is truly a representation Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area.
