5 /5 Myisha Johnson: Great church I enjoyed my attendance with worshiping the lord.
5 /5 Ice Cream: A Community Pillar for decades and family place of worship. Service is what they do for the community, from youth to elders, Center of Hope is here for you. Talk to Bishop Reems and his lovely wife. Attend a Service.
5 /5 Warren Howlett: I was actually looking to donate to the church. And now I’m very broken hearted to learn of the bishops passing. I attended this church as a teenager 16 years old in 1986 “ knowing nothing of CHRIST or never grew up in a Christian home . In fact my friends that I met in high school only came to talk to girls at this church , but this was the only church I’ve ever experience angels or the LORDS spirit. And on Sunday it was always customary to be fed after service I truly wish I could have been baptized at this church in my teenage years but unfortunately my head or heart wasn’t right. In 1991 I was baptized in LOS Angeles, ca the church called miracle center location Adams & western. This church I felt NO angels or the LORDS spirit nether did they feed you after service, unless you paid. And I felt it was always about money . I’ve been church homeless ever since .but Bishop Ernestine as a(TRUE VESSEL) OF (CHRIST) will hold a strong HIGH mantle of what leaders should follow I have tears in my heart knowing that she’s gone . but in paradise. Such wisdom will be truly missed .even though , l was Christ uneducated as a teenager I knew the first time I walk in center of hope GOD was watching over me and my actions even now . To the family such a great lost but I’m fully assured she poured great knowledge and wisdom inside your hearts that she will never be truly gone . As an outsider I hope my review is accepted. Thank you Center of Hope for GOOD MEMORY’S
5 /5 Denise Paul: Bitter sweet but we honored the Legendary Bishop Ernestine Reems of center of hope church in oakland
Linda Jordan-Clark This is my place of worship Methodist. I love it. They give out food, produce sometimes chicken or fish which is frozen every Wednesday from 10 am until 12 and the last Friday of every month they give out meats.
BernaDette Session Very friendly, family-oriented, welcoming, empowering, Kwanzaa celebration. Large comfortable community room, with clean accessible bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, tables, chairs. Entertaining childrens activities. Small parking lot, & on street parking in neighborhood. Conveniently located.
Brandon Brookshire An excellent parish that offers the Tridentine Mass. I am blessed to have such a traditional and beautiful parish so close to where I live. If you are within the area and are longing for reverence and orthodoxy, this parish is well worth the trip. An apostolate the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priests, they offer the Tridentine Mass daily and twice on Sundays, and confession prior to every Mass.
Tim Hohm Talk about authenticity! Sequoyah is truly community. Dynamic music with a live band was so good. The people are so friendly and the message was relevant, practical, and inspiring. I also LOVE the multi-cultural and multi-generational feel. It is truly a representation Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Vivian Prater Sacred Heart Church is my Parish church. Our Pastor and the fellow Priests are really genuine people who welcome everyone! My youngest granddaughter just received her First Holy Communion on May 4th in Benicia and celebrated it May 5th at Sacred Heart Church!
Far Has Went for christmas candlelight concert. Music was beautiful. The church even more so(see pics). I am curious whether they play the organ which is the top half of stage background.
