2 /5 Carissa Chavez: I’ve been going to this nail salon since I moved to the Bay Area, and I haven’t had any issues. The people have done a good job and are usually very nice. Today I went in to have a broken nail fixed, and a technician whose badge said Tyler gave me an uncomfortable experience. It was so much so that I had to walk away and request someone else to do my nail. He poorly groomed the nail that was jagged underneath and tried to glue a new nail to it. He got glue all over my finger and the plastic nail kept popping off. While filing my nails, he was doing it so aggressively that it hurt the sides of my finger. He was applying the acrylic sloppily, and when he used the electric file, he cut me. I reactively pulled my hand back because it hurt. Instead of an apology, he blamed it on me for pulling my hand away. This is not at all acceptable client service. I’m pretty disappointed since I’ve had good experiences here thus far.
