Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Chico

Elizabeth Edwards Zavala Wonderful place with wonderful people. Very friendly and inviting and great encouraging messages. I would highly recommend trying this place out! They have lots of ways to connect and volunteer, and you can put actions to your words here! They do a lot for the community and welcome all genders, ethnicities, ages, beliefs, and non-believers as well! This is a great place to become a better person and learn how to work on yourself in more in-depth ways.

Ethan Katris-Tyler Honestly, I have to give this five stars! I mean, come on! I grew up with this church for crying out loud! The church choir is just AWESOME! The people here are AMAZING! These are the people I grew up with! Its too bad Im not available to visit in-person due to COVID-19 and because I dont have my license yet. But despite the drawbacks, its still my go-to church!

St. Augustine of Canterbury Anglican Church

Lily Agape My fiancee (who grew up going to this Church) and I decided on going to their Midnight Mass service on Christmas Eve. It had been two decades since she was last there and it was my first time in an Anglican Church (I grew up Episcopalian). Things were a bit different than I was used to and being quite a bit different than most people (we are both Transgender) I was rather nervous about being there. Turned out I had nothing to fear, however - this Church is accepting of all people. My fiancee and I had a fantastic time and might even decide to go back someday.

Pleasant Valley Baptist Church

Kwade Conner I truly feel at home at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. From the moment I walked in, I was met with genuine love, warmth, and kindness from everyone. The sense of community here is something special—it’s not just a church, it’s a family. What stands out most is how the Word of God is preached. It’s clear, powerful, and easy to understand—no personal opinions added, no watered-down messages. Every sermon is rooted directly in Scripture, presented exactly as God intended. That’s rare to find, and it’s what makes this church so impactful in my life. I’m incredibly thankful to be part of a church where truth is preached boldly, love is shared freely, and Christ is glorified in all things.

Trinity United Methodist Church

Jerry Clark Trinity has the kindest, most charitable spirit for giving comfort and shelter to the homeless all winter. They go out of their way to check in and sometimes volunteer at the shelter. They are truly the best of Christians.
