1 /5 Daniel Rall: If you like an Inferior Standard of Care, this is your place.
Latest example (in a decade-long litany of failures): Hit by a truck while on my bike. Called in to see my PCP. No callback. Called in again. Front desk said they were still waiting for a doctors response. Made an appointment for 2 WEEKS later, and went to urgent care. Appointment cancelled due to doctor becoming unavailable 3 days beforehand, with msg saying another doctor would see me. Called in, and front desk again reached out to doctors. No callback. Called in AGAIN end of next day, was told no response from doctors (after 2 full days); msg had apparently "not been marked urgent." Finally get a callback half way through next day; offered an appointment the following week, 3 WEEKS after being hit by a truck, and in deteriorating condition.
Seriously? 3 weeks to see my PCP, when I have urgent medical concerns?
The practitioners here are competent, but what does it matter if theyre effectively unavailable?
