The individual who provided my pedicure, referred to as "T," demonstrated a pleasant and gentle demeanor. However, considering the cost of $38.00 for the pedicure, I anticipated a more comprehensive service.
The treatment solely involved the application of a sugar scrub to my legs, excluding my feet. Regrettably, there was no massage component. The lotion was hastily applied to my legs and feet, followed by a quick wipe with a towel. In contrast, the client seated next to me received a massage. While I acknowledge that she may have opted for a different type of pedicure (which I was not offered), I still expected a more substantial service beyond a cursory rub.
The pedicure commenced promisingly, but approximately 30 minutes in, the pace noticeably accelerated, resulting in a rushed completion. The application of nail polish extended onto my cuticles and skin, leaving a rough texture. Furthermore, the clear coat is already peeling from the skin, and the softness of my feet remains unsatisfactory.
Another concerning observation was the absence of any displayed licenses at each workstation, which is a legal requirement. My professional experience as a manicurist spanning over 20 years underscores the importance of adhering to such regulations. Additionally, after utilizing the cheese grater on my heels, a fresh towel should have been provided to prevent recontamination of my feet with the removed dead skin.
Despite the positive ratings, my experience at this establishment fell short of expectations, and I will not be returning for future services.
