5 /5 Grand Event Spaces: We were hired (for decor and catering) by a family hosting a repass. The social hall was spacious with an great kitchen space for prep and serving. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Hope to return for more services.

4 /5 BROWNEYEZ 420: I attended a friend’s baby shower nice big social area. Nice weather, neighborhood decent parking. Area was easy to get to thru Google Maps. I would like to come visit for church services one day. No complaints church is very spacious. Not sure what faith it was. Had a good time.

5 /5 Yevette Tipton: Our church rented the ballroom for our Christmas party. Large space, much larger than the picture depicted, very clean. an amazing host. We usually use Hotel ballrooms with wrinkled linen, poor customer service and cold food. Catering and bringing our own food was safer and more satisfying. I was given a tour of additional halls, meeting/conference/class rooms. A huge sanctuary with a balcony. Impressive. Ideal for an average to huge wedding. Looking forward to our Womens conference at this location in the spring.

Ton T I can’t tell if this building is still being used as a Church but it’s Spanish influenced architecture facade and roof appears to be in need of repairs. I hope it’s renovated as it’s quite an appealing building.

Far Has Went for christmas candlelight concert. Music was beautiful. The church even more so(see pics). I am curious whether they play the organ which is the top half of stage background.

Lake Merritt United Methodist Church

Michelle Corsilles Great music, lovely folks, good preaching, very real life. Excellent childrens programming. A nice find for working with and worshipping with people who care about the community they live in. The lakeshore location and beautiful sanctuary with historic and gorgeous mosaic tryptich is a real bonus.
