1 /5 J S: Sorry Kelly but Mike doesnt care about people. If he cared he wouldve done the easy fixes on my car (like tightening screws on the manifold where oil was clearly leaking from there was an obviously large gap) and add more coolant because i was extremely extremely low and that is a sign of an issue going on he didnt care to look at.. and not just say to replace the entire turbo charger. I paid $90 for a code I already had. $90 I worked hard for. He did not. I was on time for my appointment there but had to wait around 3 hours just for that code I had already gotten and it took less than 10 minutes from the previous mechanic and was free. I just wanted to get a 2nd opinion and help. Im so glad I went and got a 3rd opinion from a better mechanic that cares to look under the hood and diagnose issues with their knowledge. Not affordable! I got a quote for $1900 to replace the turbocharger in my car, they said $900 for labor and $1000 for parts. The entire turbo charger replacement kit online costs right around $200. That ended up not being the issue and the mechanic here didnt actually take a look under my hood but charged me $90 for the visit for a code I already had. If they looked under my hood they would have seen the oil leaking every where, extremely low coolant, and the big gap in the manifold that just needed to be tightened down and all the parts for the pcv intake were falling apart or damaged. The pcv intake replacement was $70, no need to replace the turbocharger like they recommended here and doing what they suggested wouldnt have fixed my car and would have just caused more problems and possibly mess up my car. I want my $90 back. What a scam. Im very tempted to go to the store in person to complain, I am tired of these scamming con artist mechanics out here. Look up turbo charger replacement videos and it shouldnt take someone more than a few hours going slow and they want to charge $900 for labor here? And charge 20x the actual retail price for parts. Thats rich

1 /5 Kirk Ford: Wow. Really bad. Untrustworthy. I took my car here after hearing a good review. My experience was not positive like the other reviewer. The owner is very difficult to contact. The phone is rarely answered, and the voice mail box is full so you cant leave a message. When I finally contacted the owner, he said he would work on my car within a couple days. 3 weeks later, no word about my vehicle. I tried calling and the phone was disconnected. I had my wife stop by and ask in person. The owner told her it would be done on Wednesday. I went by in person to get the vehicle on Wednesday and it hadnt been touched. The owner told me to my face he would have it done same time Thursday. I came by Thursday and it hadnt been touched. Now I need to get my key back and take it to a different mechanic. Everyone wants a mechanic you can trust. Trust is hard to come by, and even harder to replace once its lost. If I cant trust my mechanic to tell me the truth how can I trust them to ensure my vehicle is repaired correctly and safely to protect my family inside? 1 out of 5 stars. I will tell everyone I meet to avoid this shop.

5 /5 Kelly Rogers: If anyone needs a mechanic in ukiah this guy mike is so dope.. he literally cares about people and their struggles.. Im so proud how much hes came up since I met him. Even after covid and all that mess he kept pushing and got a bigger and better shop and now he can do smog checks and everything. Im so thankful to know him and his wife and Im grateful for all his help. This is the man to go to if u have any mechanical needs.. ty mike I appreciate you!!

5 /5 MAMA: Today, Mike was able to make the necessary recommendations for service and repair on a vehicle I was considering buying. Based on his analysis of the vehicle as a solid van, I purchased it same day. Mike happened to have all the parts available, and made all the fixes (bearing and hub, power steering pump, and new brake pads and rotors) that afternoon, and I drove it home, all within a 1/2 a work day. Wow. The whole time he was pleasant, multitasking, knowledgeable, and prompt. He also manages a U-Haul rental location from his shop, which was busy with clients while we were there. I watched Mike expertly handle each client, just as he treated me and my husband. People make the difference.
