I can tell the people involved in the church are really dedicated to serving. I also appreciate the kid’s program on Sunday mornings and also Awana on Wednesday nights.

The church has several programs for just about every age group and does a lot to reach out to the community and also supports their fair share of missions around the world. I never felt pressured to give financially and the pastor followed up with me after my first visit. I would recommend this Assemblies of God church to anyone looking for a place to call home.

John Chambers Living faith is an awesome church. Pastor Mike and his sermons are the perfect way to start your Sunday. The band plays great music for a variety of folk. The childrens pastor is great with the kids and everybody is friendly and welcoming. There is coffee, tea and munchies before service where everybody can meet and greet.

Rita Morgin Lovely community lots of interesting events here I went to a labyrinth walk that was held with a crystal Bowl healing music. It was beautiful the people were very welcoming and this is a loving place where its easy to speak up and say you know I prefer not to hug or I prefer you dont touch my back. The people listen hear and understand what it means to listen to people. I have always felt welcome here no matter what event I have come to enjoy.

It is in a good neighborhood and a clean place with good parking. On the other hand, it is old and needs a lot of upgrades to be a good event venue. So consider your needs and choose accordingly.

Hung Tran The Life Teen Masses at 5:30 PM on Sundays are the best, as they are mainly for families with teenagers and young adults. The Life Teen Choir makes the mass more lively and entertaining, as it performs half a dozen or so worship songs.

Raphael Tran Only went to church because I was traveling thru SB and didnt want to miss Sunday service.....and went to the youth mass at 5:30pm. It was actually very vibrant and fun. Small church, but big energy. Also, its my namesake saint! Definitely would come back again to support this little parish :)

Not long ago when we experienced the Thomas Fires St. Raphaels was one of the only churches that still held services during that tragedy and we prayed and Worshipped God in song with smoke and Fires Surrounding us thats hardcore. Of course we left when we had to evacuate yet I was Amazed and Encouraged in the Lord. Plus the amount of People who came together to Volunteer and help after the damage of the fires and mudslides was comforting. My GrandMomma Alicia Dupuy used to say when tragedy happens in life look for the Helpers and if ya Cant see none Be one. St Raphael collectively are Helping the Community on a Spiritual level and a physical level being available vessels to share the Loveof Jesus in a Real Tangible way. Praise God and Glory to God Almighty Forevermore....

donna mayle Lovely vintage church. The sanctuary is small but beautiful. It has the original wood paneling and altar. The stained glass windows are beautiful. The main entrance has stairs to enter the sanctuary but there is a wheelchair entrance through the attached community room. There is a beautiful meditation labyrinth to the front side of the church that is open to the public. All are welcome. This is an Episcopal denomination but it is very active in the interdenominational community in Hollister. They offer a lot of special events and activities and support and participate in more. Everyone is welcome to attend and all believers are invited to participate in communion, which is offered every Sunday. The congregation is very friendly. There is a short service at 8am that lasts 40 minutes. It has no music or childcare or childrens church. At 11am there is a longer service that lasts 75 minutes. This service has music, childrens church, child care, and is followed by a coffee hour. The congregation is diverse and welcoming. The Episcopal Church has female priests, deacons, and elders. Was welcomed by sooo many members and Ministery, what a warm and inviting place of worship and instruction. Pastor’s message was on point. Was honored to visit from Spanaway Washington with my brother Leonard Galimba and his beautiful Wife Leonor, and my brother Art Galimba and his beautiful wife Ladene. Great to hear Ladene play the piano and Art singing in worship again. Honored to receive Communion and unexpected and anointed ‘foot washing’ ‘For such a time as this’ my visit was good for my wife Ronda’s and my Tony’s soul.
