What Clients Are Saying Saint Raphael Catholic Church (GG)
4 /5 Hung Tran: The Life Teen Masses at 5:30 PM on Sundays are the best, as they are mainly for families with teenagers and young adults. The Life Teen Choir makes the mass more lively and entertaining, as it performs half a dozen or so worship songs.
5 /5 Raphael Tran: Only went to church because I was traveling thru SB and didnt want to miss Sunday service.....and went to the youth mass at 5:30pm. It was actually very vibrant and fun. Small church, but big energy. Also, its my namesake saint! Definitely would come back again to support this little parish :)
5 /5 Abel Dupuy-Cardoza: Beautiful Church and Beautiful People who Love God and People. Not long ago when we experienced the Thomas Fires St. Raphaels was one of the only churches that still held services during that tragedy and we prayed and Worshipped God in song with smoke and Fires Surrounding us thats hardcore. Of course we left when we had to evacuate yet I was Amazed and Encouraged in the Lord. Plus the amount of People who came together to Volunteer and help after the damage of the fires and mudslides was comforting. My GrandMomma Alicia Dupuy used to say when tragedy happens in life look for the Helpers and if ya Cant see none Be one. St Raphael collectively are Helping the Community on a Spiritual level and a physical level being available vessels to share the Loveof Jesus in a Real Tangible way. Praise God and Glory to God Almighty Forevermore....
5 /5 Michael Rippe: Visiting for the first time. I enjoyed the Mass which included a good homily. Parishioners were friendly and the presiding priest was very kind. I’ll be sure to visit again. Come back to the Catholic Church!
Dave Amerson Love this church! Been a part of the church for +15 years. Love how they always have content available online. The sermons are insightful, and relevant sermon content, great community and Bible study options. Jon Ireland is also a strong public speaker, so he’s easy to listen to and engaging. Accepting of ALL “No perfect people allowed.”
Stephen Fountain I have been attending Trinity about 2 1/2 years now and have never felt more at home in a church. It has become my spiritual family and I look forward to church every Sunday , being filled with so much love!
Glo Everyday Pastor Datillo was a guest speaker at my church and it was an incredible blessing. A wonderful message he gave! Thank you. God bless you always.
Rhonda DuPar Churches are like doctors, what is a good fit for one person is not a great for for another--but this is my church home and I love it. Why you ask? I would be glad to tell you. The people are a supportive group organized into homegroups that care for the people of the church. There is an emphasis on practical outreach as well as global missions. The hard issues are talked about and wrestled with both in sermons and in small groups. The sermons and structure are actively centered around scripture. The elder led, multiple teaching pastors approach brings healthy balance. I could probably say more but suffice to say, I would highly recommend checking it out.
Joan Taylor I moved here from PA 7 years ago. This church allowed me to feel at home from the start. Everyone was so friendly and inclusive. This is a missional church, serving here in Santa Barbara and around the world. Im proud to call First Presbyterian my home church.
Ellen S Emanuel means "God is with us" and I feel His presence everywhere. The congregation is so warm and inviting and very welcoming. The sermons feed and sustain you with the word of God, given by a wonderful pastor. If you enjoy singing, come and sing your heart out, singing praises to the Lord. Even if you cant sing, like me, it doesnt matter.
